The process starts with fooling you by taking an exam that is so easy that even a 12th pass out will be able to crack.then there are GD and PI rounds which are just a showoff as they take everybody whohas applied for the course

The college provides a platform for experiential learning by inviting companies on campus but the profiles offered are something and the actual work they make you do is something else.

My student life at the WLCI had its ups and downs. And I would not say that it was a 100 per cent satisfactory experience. But over all I feel that studying at the Institute was a learning experience that has helped me tackle professional problems with ease

Working in a real environment, and earning while learning were two more factors that make me want to give five stars to the WLCI team. I would recommend WLCI’s business courses to anyone who wants to learn real world strategies.

This institution is only meant for people who are looking for practical exposure. If you are more into theoretical studies, then it may not the right choice for you. At the end of the course I was a little lost as to where I am headed career wise.

When I joined WLCI I was under-confident regarding my talents, skills,etc. I knew my interests but I was not sure in which direction I should have focused. Thanks to our regressive teaching system, I think many students face these problems.

By doing an apprentice program while I do my post graduation, it gives me ample opportunity to be a part of same organization as a full time employee. The practical experience that I gained in Wigan & Leigh College through the Traineeship Program, together with academics is helping me today in my workplace to give my optimum efforts and achieve results.

This course has helped to face the real world and the demands of corporate pressure simultaneously with studies even before I finished my post graduation. Believe me I would have been lost after completion of my course understanding how corporate world operates and works, but at Wigan I was relieved from all those worries.

The entrance test for admission into PGDBE is very easy. You just have to score well in you graduation and have good communications skills to get selected in the Group discussion. After which the final round of interview takes place. Also there is a process of counselling after the selection.

The course curriculum is all about the specialization you choose. I had marketing as my specialization as I am more of Speaker so the subjects also revolved around customers and sales like CRM, consumer product etc.

I joined WLCI after lots of consideration and research. My first option for getting a degree in the field of business was going to the US. But the hefty course fee proved to be a big hindrance in achieving my dreams. The next obvious option for me was joining a course that was in sync with the international standards. I did my research and decided to join WLCI.

Events that take place in the college are Freshers' party, farewell, Ethnic Day and the college Fest, which is the biggest event of the year as we host a bunch of activities related to the world of fashion and there are other activities like Investomania.

So many events like Fashion Show, Freshers' Party, Farewell happen at the college along with some days like Ethnic Day where all of the students are required to dress up in Indian attire, where all the girls look usually pretty, the boys steal the thunder with their pathani suits and salwars.

The faculty is amazing and are always by your side whenever you need any kind of assistance. Ms. Anamika Verma is a wonderful mentor as she has an experience of 20 years in the industry and she continues to provide extreme knowledge about corporate life and other related things.

The Fee structure was very reasonable. I remember that our entire MBA for 2 years cost us 35000 INR- including the cost of the books which were provided to us for both the years. However, as I hear from my juniors, the fees has slightly gone up & now is in the range of 1.5 Lakhs for the 2 years course- excluding the hostel & mess.

Being in a place like Dharwar- far away from the Corporate world- this I must say was the only main disadvantage that we didnot have very good placements. Apparently, with a very active "Placement Cell" now, I understand that this has been rectified & lot of students do get placed before they complete their course.

I got a job right on the first day and in my dream company at that time i.e. Motorola India, as I wanted to join a cutting edge technology company in working for systems software. It was considered as only CMM level 5 in India with high quality standard and they only visited few colleges and were very selective in their interview process.

GATE + BITS ME Entrance Exam + Interview, GATE Score - 86 percentile. BITS is an institute of repute which has demonstrated and proven academic excellence. BITS believes in extracting true potential of students instead of rating them in terms of marks or comparing with others.

During my time as a student at WLCI, what I found remarkable about the institute was the faculty’s responsibility towards their students. Unlike other private institutes where the students are left to fend for themselves, at WLCI it was the other way around. All the faculty members are concerned about the growth of the students.

There are other institutes like Pearl, NIFT, etc. catch all the limelight due to their marketing gimmicks. And WLCI is not highlighted enough for students to realize what a nice institute it really is. If you want to get the best fashion education, then I would suggest that you think about joining wlci.

Exams are hectic.. mid semesters, live projects, group assignments, and all other tasks given to the students at the time of lectures. The exam pattern is unpredictable and there are certain things which are not even part of the sylabus but they are there in the exams.

Alumni can be found on LinkedIn other than that no clue of alumni. One of my friends had a cousin who was an ex FBSite and he said that you must grab all the opportunities and not wait for any better company to come as you may miss out on all.

Prof. Priya R was one of the best faculties and not many students know this but she can teach any subject she has so much knowledge. She can change your way of thinking and motivate you in such a way that it leaves an impression on you for a lifetime.

Placements in good companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Gulf, etc with average package of 5,00,000 come to the college for the recruitment process while some of them ask the students to come to the office for the interview.

Faculty is strict as they are all IIM alumni so they expect a lot from us. One faculty is so strict that she doesn't give marks because she says you guys don't write the relevant data which is required and i m not going to give you marks for this stupidity

Campus life is pretty decent. We have library where all of us are seen at the time of exams, photocopy shop and computer lab which are crowded when we have to submit an assignment, or the cafeteria which is crowded all the time

My experience here would be quite good as i met new people made friends and learnt new things. Apart from that I was not a studious student from the beginning but here even after not studying much I could easily score well. All thanks to lectures I attended.

Faculty is wonderful . My mentor was Prof Bidisha. She really helped me tackle my worst situations with ease and one thing i will never forget is that she says: Ignorance is bliss, ignore what you cant change!! Thank you mam!!

The council makes sure that every time the Annual Fest of FBS is bigger and attracts more crowd by inviting celebrities. There are events like freshers party and farewell and then there is a blood donation camp organized every year for the students to come up and donate blood.

Campus life is pretty good as they teach us how to manage work life and personal life. We had once done a project in PEM( personality effieciency managemement) and there we learnt on balancing the ups and downs that are faced by every other being.

A great bunch of faculties who have been alumni of IIM and IIT are appointed here and the way they teach is quite unique. My favourite faculty is Prof. Mishra as he is pretty much clear about his vision and guides carefully as to enrich a student's career.

Paid internships are offered by the college itself for the marketing of IFBS. They offer to do digital marketing and the college pays a stipend for the same, this is counted as a internship and is helpful for the future.

Events that take place at IFBS are quite happening as we were welcomed with a freshers'party and kicked out with a smashing farewell party. Apart from this there are social responsibilty events like walk for life etc.

The course offers variety of subjects to be studied under one roof like, advance excel, Cost accountancy which involve balance sheet, profit and loss appropriation and rectification of errors to be studied in detail

Internship has to be done by the students on their own, no assistance will be provided by the college but the faculties help if you ask them any doubt regarding anything related to syllabus even they guide you on your future plans. Ranjita mam helped me alot by guiding me about the curriculum and internship

campus life is the most fun with events like Diwali, Holi, and camps and educational tours where we learn alot. They are also providing tours which can be helpful as they are part of the learning experience.

Amazing journey with long lasting friends i have made here, Thank you IFBS for such an experience with my friends, I cam here to improve myself and build a career and I never thought of making friends but I did end up making such good friendsandthanks to them for holding on with me till now

Fantastic campus life as involves freshers, farewell and most importantly fest which witnesses a huge gathering with ample participations. The life at IFBS was pretty much of a learning experience as I learnt many life lessons apart from the studies.

An experience to remember as I built in my self confidence here, they provide personal grooming classes for students who are not that active. Apart from that IFBS also provides all kinds of language classes so the students dont feel bored by the studies and have something new to explore in the campus only.

Alumni is really good, I met Eisha Puri who is working with ICICI Bank at one of the official events of IFBS. She was a humble person and answered all my questions very politely and when I asked the reason for being so she said that Customer Relationship management is all about a smile 365 days
