Exam structure is also good.first of all there are bridge course in the 1st month of college. In that there is different activities. Then exam kf bridge course is conduct. Then our regular study starts and then our mid semester examination was comes and after that our final exams will come.

In LDCE technical,cultural, management festivals organised. Some of the events are too large. So they can conduct in our big cricket ground. Some of the events are small so it can be conducted in hall.Our principal also supports all the events.it is very helpful to all of us.

My course was structured for 4 years as follows 1st year is all about understanding basic engineering concepts across all course. We will still have option to change course if we intend as we will have a taste of all domains. It works in Semester basis with 14 theory subjects and 4 labs and 2 general subjects(constitution of India and work ethics, Environmental studies) .

We had a blend of experienced and freshly joined faculties. Some faculties have PhD and some have masters They may not be the best faculties in town but were giving there best to help us. They had good knowledge over concepts they educated us. Some were extra ordinary and some were good enough. What ever the problem it was easy for us to approach them for solution.

The campus life is very good and every one will like that life definitely. The gender ratio is little bit bad female gender is very less say out of 60 students only 10 students are female gender .Coming to diversity it has excellent diversity students are from all parts of the country .The extra curricular activities are good the debates, jam sessions ,group discussions and many more are there and sports competitions are also held .

In this college admission is purely for army wards. After JEE mains we have to fill a separate application for joining in this college which will available in the official website of AIT. After one week of the declaration of the JEE mains ranks the AIT merit list will be published on the AIT website and the admission is purely based on the JEE mains ranks (Based on which the merit list is prepared).

The admission process was quite simple. In Tamil Nadu we have colleges affiliated under the Anna university. My college is also under the Anna university. Hence after schooling, I applied to joined college, I will be called for counselling. There I can select my preferred college. Then I will complete my application form with the required documents like my school mark sheets and other ID proofs. Then I am admitted in the college.

Placements in our college are good, Our college is where you can actually find students with industry level skills who already would have worked on industry based project. Companies like iNautix, Skava, Payoda, HCL and other companies based in Coimbatore provide offer to our student every year via On campus placements. This year in addition to the companies Thought works provided placement opportunities.

Exams in every college in bangalore like one night study exam and the labs are very bad in my college. Teachers don't know anything about the labs, they won't allow easily to touch or experiment you anything. Once i did something that even teacher didn't understood what happened in the machine and she started scolding me and told you will be charged 2.5 lacs for this machine as fine.

I got RNSIT from my rank and i took information Science branch but the ISE branch is very very bad in this college i from my personal experience suggest you to not take this branch in this college. No any staff members of this department is good and the Hod of the department is very very bad. She will never support you in any way. She just wants only attendance.

When i was passout that time market was not that good so that year only 5 companies came to our college for placement.Tech M, Godrej, L & T, Carwale, Quality quios, all companies package was in between 2.5 to 3.8. No dream company came that year other wise 2-3 dream companies also come to college every year wich offers salary above 5.5 also TCS comes every year which Their atleast 80-90 students.

College conduct the robotics event which is very big almost from all the college students come to take part. Also college organise the cultural event like dance,singing and acoustics events also different game events. Also college organise the sports events for both boys and girls like cricket, football, TT etc.

Our college celebrate events frequently .Mostly every week an event is celebrated as per an year schedule . Every festival is celebrated in college grandly. They conduct Fresher's for the incoming juniors and farewell for the outgoing students . Old students are also gathered for the celebrations.

As our college is an autonomous college exams are conducted frequently within a gap of three weeks . They conduct 2 assignment exams and two sessional exams before the semester exams are being conducted by the college . For the semester examination paper is prepared outside the college.

I have a friend who has availed loan facility from state bank of India. He has received the entire amount along with the laptop. The amount should be repaid after a year of passing out on a monthly basis. There are many other merit based scholarships and scholarships based on the parents income. The list of all the scholarships will be given before joining the college so the students can apply for that accordingly.

The gender ratio was 3:1 (boys: girls). The campus was the best thing with all the trees, deers and many other animals. It was like a well-maintained zoo park except it was safe for everyone to walk around. It's a different feeling living in the lap of nature. People from all over India gather here. Few from other countries too. But nearly 50% or more people used to be from Andhra Pradesh.

The education structure of college is quite good, the classes are big enough to fit in 60 to 70 students, fitted with computers and projectors which make it easy to understand the topics of studies. The course cover all basics and essentials that are important for business administration. Subjects like "BUSINESS ETHICS" and "VALUES AND ETHICS" not only helps in teaching the calculations and learn the tactics of corporate world, but also teaches hoe to actual operate the business in an ethical manner.

The Exams are normal chilled out, the syllabus is not that wide and tough if a student studies one month before he/she can easily score upto 70%. The basic rule to score good in IPU is to write as much as you can. The subjects are easy to understand and really easy to learn and write. The marks that students get in internal are very important as the structure of examination is 25 + 75, 25 is of internal and 75 externals.

Campus life is very cool. we enjoyed a lot. Me and my friend enjoy the study and play so many sports in the college. And gender ratio is very is equally balanced. in my college, there are so many female who feels very proud and secure. There is so much diversity in my college, students are coming from different states to study here.

My faculty is very experienced and very helpful. whenever we students need any help they are always there for the help. They always provide us good knowledge and help us to explore more apart from our daily classes. My words will be less if i talk about them because they actually deserve more than that.

The course structure is very vast. It covers a broad category of subjects. First year is all the basics starting from class 11-12 material. The main subjects come in from second year on wards. The college has dedicated labs for research purposes and the college authorities are very supportive for pursuing research. Apart from that, any one can get the detailed course structure from WBUT website as the college is under WBUT.

The gender ratio is balanced. There is no such thing as gender discrimination in our college. Every body gets equal opportunities. We have workshops but that is not a very regular event. Discrimination in general is very much discouraged in our college. We tend to be one big happy family. No one shuns another person on grounds of sex, ethnicity, religion, politics. Every body respects everyone's view.

The course is good as my stream is cse Hod of the cse is excellent in driving the student to the goal. There are many options for the students like we can attend workshops we can write the certification course which was in the college only. Many association hours so many like that. Which help the student interact with the faculty and learn new tech.

Placement and job opportunities are good. Some many of students are placed jn tcs, accenture, genpact, amazon and many more companies. Packages are ranging from 1,50,000 to 5,00,00 pa. The college is very broad minded. Gender ratio is around 65/35. Boys being more. Parties are held once a month where students of all batches are invited. the College does not have any elections or student unions. Cleanliness is well maintained in halls however sometimes the ganga canteen (one of the three canteens) is reprimanded for using stale food and changing prices on a day to day basis.we do not have a mess system.

The course curriculum is extremely rigorous. We have 6 continuous assessments every month. For all the law subjects, we have to submit project+viva whereas for the stream subjects we have assignments. We also have midterms for all the law subjects after 2 moths and end terms for all the subjects at the end of the semester. Each semester is for 4 months.

Placement and Job Opportunities provided by Amity Business School were not on the brighter side during 2011-2013 session, as we were recovering from recession and being a Finance Post Graduate, Govt. Sector banks were also prohibitated, our condition was not very well. But still, some promising companies like, Deloitte, KPMG, Black Stone, IndusInd Bank, SBI Cards, ONICRA, NPCI did come for placements.

Exams were actually three fold process in Amity Business School. First, we used to get 5 marks on our class attendance, throughout the semester. Second, used to be Mid Semester Exams, which carried 25 Marks value, and depended upon teacher how he/she distributes it. Usually there used to be a project and presentation worth 15 Marks and a Surprise Test worth 10 Marks.

The fee structure according to me was reasonable we paid 45,000 for a year. I fell it was extremely reasonable for all the facilities you got including the festivals, labs, and for tuition. The students have the option to pay the actual fees for the lab and the tuition either in full or partially in instalments. Payable quarterly or monthly the full fees can be paid at the begging of the academic year.

The teachers were very practical. The campus was also huge and we had a lot of festivals. We also had a media fest where the students had to create short movies and present in front of media personal. Mine was enjoyed by the media personal. I made a documentary on the slum children for the media fest, it was to promote and support them.

The admission takes place through the online counselling of JEE after the results of JEE are declared, and students are required to fill out the college selection form according to their priority. The admission then takes place in 4 rounds wherein the student gets the best possible college for the rank obtained and has to report to the college for physical reporting until the choice is locked online by the student.

The course curriculum follows the WBUT syllabus and electives are chosen by the college only, according to which teachers are available. The subjects are interesting nevertheless, and also good from the point of view of higher education. Some additional subjects from the Computer Science stream are also available in case anyone wants to go for a multidisciplinary subject or simply has interest in one.

A lot of fests and competitions were organised in college. These included the Tech fest- Instruo, the cultural fest spanning 4 days called Rebeca, the Quiz fest Gyandhara organised by the quiz club of the college. Then cultural programmes were held on Rabindra jayanti, Independence day, Republic day, Saraswati puja,etc and the various departmental freshers and farewells.

The admission to the institute is through WBJEE exam. I appeared in WBJEE 2009 and secured rank of 1066. Then as most Engineering colleges, admission is on the basis of Rank of the candidate, choice of stream and availability of seats. I selected Civil engineering as the college is famous for this stream being the 2nd oldest engineering college in India.

Campus life will be good and there are no gender ratios in the campus all are treated as student only. There will be more workshops conducted by different organisation inside the campus and so many seminars related to all streams will be conducted inside the campus and there will be no raging in the campus. In even semester every student must completes one sport certificate as a part of curriculum.

There are so many events like Samyak a technical fest and individual branch technical fests will also be celebrated in the campus and some cultural events like Surabhi especially meant for cultural activities of the students. There will be KLUSO it is an students organisation for students hobbies and other activities in the campus and also outside the campus.

There is 2 step process for gaining admission in IITs. You need to clear JEE Mains as well as JEE Advanced. You first need to apply for JEE Mains whose registration normally starts in December. The exam is held in April first week in both pen and paper as well as offline mode. You need to be in the top 150000 in the ranking of JEE Mains to be eligible for JEE Advanced. Then JEE Advanced usually takes place in the May end or June first week. The final admission to IIT is solely based on JEE Advanced performance.

The companies do visit the college for internships in 3rd yr for B.tech students and in 4th yr for Dual Degree students. The stipend varies from 1.25 Lac per month to 10000 per month. The number of companies paying high stipends are quite less i.e. 2-3. The average stipend is less than 30000 per month. Also the number of students getting internships through campus is high for branches like Computer Science and Electronics & Communications Engineering and less for other branches.

According to gender ratio there were around 60 percent boys and 40 percent girls in our college.Yes there were many extracurricular activities held in our college in which students from entire Dehradun were allowed to take part. Seniors of our colleges used to organise workshops every year in robotics, ethical hacking, etc. which was free of cost for students for our college.

Most of the faculty in college was highly educated and some of them were from IIT's, NIIT's etc. Infact there were faculties for particular subjects and sometimes for particular topic also. So it was great to have studied from them. Also faculties were friendly to students, At the mid of every semester a feed back form is given to students for every faculty who teaches them.
