There are annual fests along with annual seminars. 1 of the biggest fest of JIMS is Verve and every year almost 150 colleges participate in the Same. There was Oasis as well where the competition used to happens between the jims colleges only and also many of the celebrities are invited to perform on these fests and these are on certain different level than any other college. An annual seminar named Opine used to occur in auditorium outside and allot famous and big delegates from different organizations used to join sharing their corporate experience and giving us guidance on campus to corporate.
Everything was just perfect. Gender ratio is almost equal. I could see number of girls and boys as almost equal. The campus life was great as there used to be no age biasness or gender biasness. Everyone was equal used to stay together. Sports activities occur every year in January where we used to have almost all the sports activities like basket ball, volley ball, shot put, long jump, athletics and also marathon. There used to be also badminton, carom, chess and dart in the competition.

The course includes 3 main subjects that is Philosophy, Political Science, and Sociology. The portion is decided by the university. In the second year we have 2 papers in each subject and an additional subject which are mass communication, nutrition, investment analysis and Gandhiism. In third year we have to select one main subject as a major and give 6 different papers for that subject.
The exam structure is depended upon the university and also the college has sufficient amount of labs and class to conduct a test at one time though they make it a point not to burden the students. It also ensures if the university has given 2 papers in a day they give a gap of 4 to 5 hours between each paper and they do adjust due to any reason fail to appear for an exam.

At my time college fee was nearly 3500 per annum and we can pay these fee semester wise and the amount for semester wise is nearly 1700 and in starting we should pay building fee nearly 7000, they will say that amount is refundable, but i had not received the amount, when i asked they said they brought campus for us and they not given even a single rupee for month not even a single company had come.
The course i too heavy to study now there are 2 semester in all years final year second semester is some what easy in all semester 2 subjects will be tough some are strength of material, kinematics of machines, machine design, machine drawing, in first year m1 subject is too difficult, some easy subjects are mm, automobile engineering, engineering drawing in every semester there will be 2 labs.

Since we have a hospitality section I shall tell you about our events. We have two events that take place in a year. In the initial part of the year we conduct an even called the theme dinner where as the name suggests we organize a dinner with a particular theme and follow it. Next event being the exhibition dinner which is the biggest event in our department when a budget of 25 lac is given and we use that to make a huge even possible . We cook over 100 buffet dishes and this too has a theme . (Both of these events are marked by an external examiner ).
I would say quiet feasible. We pay around 95,000 to a 1,00,000 and with the services provided I would say that it is amazing and they do not shy out on its costs. We pay this for each year and are provided with 3 class room uniforms and trousers, 2 chef coats, a suit, an uniform and also a tool kit which has all the required tools needed in the kitchen.
College faculty was fully experienced and had brilliant knowledge in all courses of engineering. Although there was lack of some staff in computer engineering but now all posts are fulfilled. The courses I had studied in the college helped me in strengthen up my career. Also we had some additional subjects which helped us in other aspects of life.
Our college is a deemed university. So all courses were designed effectively. All basic subjects of computer engineering were there. The courses I had studied in the college helped me in strengthen up my career. Also we had some additional subjects which helped us in other aspects of life.

Our college is open 365 days which means no holidays not even on Sundays, so we celebrate every festival together, great events are organised in a calendar year, and a competition during our induction time is organised in which groups are formed and cultural competition of various levels happen and winner is sponsored a trip to Goa by college and one more event name Drishti is organised at a much higher level in which all aspects like cultural sports and management activities are there.
The academic departments our college keeps on giving challenges to us in exam. Every semester our exam pattern gets changes, we have to give surprise test sometimes 3 in a day and those are calculated and added to our final semester exam, we have to separately pass in internal as well as external exam. Passing criteria is 50 marks.

Campus life is very good, various activities are organised now and then by various college societies of art and department. Students take part in various intercollegiate fests too. Gender ratio is good. Various cultural societies also put forward there own events from time to time.
Fee structure for college is similar to all other private colleges though hostel is expensive but they provide u with facilities according to fee. I think the fee structure is feasible.

I had given MHT CET in 2009. I had achieved 121 marks in that examination. I want to take admission in good college for engineering which also have less fees. Modern college is good for teaching staffs as well as for placement also. Their are good facilities for the students. This things I got to knew by my friends. So I have taken admission in modern college.
For students who have few experiences with diversity in the past, outline. Ours is a very diverse society- and increasingly so. We are all influenced by our culture to some extent. I completed my bachelors degree in EE at Nanyang Technological, cultural backgrounds. It will also depend on whether you are a grad student or an undergrad.

MBA is a degree which teach you lots of things in terms of Leadership, Planning and Management. When I got admission in college, I was not even capable to understand English language but after been student, I grew up after been a part of Atmiya. Atmiya always choose to practice on Cash Study and Research. Daily we took participate on current issue which is related to our course in terms of Finance Management, Risk Management, Future and Options etc. Its good structure in Atmiya to understand everything easily through case study and research.
I passed our GSET exam which was entrance exam to get admission in MBA/MCA after completed my graduation (BBA-Finance). I scored 125 out of 200. Before I got admission, I came to know by my friend and news paper about this collage. I opted this college because its very famous college in our regional area "Saurashtra" and famous in Gujarat as well in terms of Placement and personal grooming.

I have seen many students specially first yearites and second yearites running after fests and groups and what not. They want to be a part of these at any fest or group because they believe it will help them with their placements(even I used to think same). So let me start my answer. The best possible way to explain my hypothesis is to tackle this question point by point.

If a student scored 90% or above in every subject of the semester then he can apply for scholarship and a certain amount of relaxation in the fees structure will be given to him in the next year.
Foreigners also study here. All festivals are celebrated here area for playing different kinds of sports is provided which is very good.

Yes it's good, but knowledge wise we can learn but language wise it will b difficult why means I have studied in Tamil medium in college also all the staffs were using Tamil. So that it will b difficult to learn English language but mechanical engineering all problematic paper so we can easily pass the subjects so that I passed out easily from my college apart from other departments there are lot of knowledgeable students and staffs are there so we can learn or ask doubt related to the English doubt also.
Events celebration also very very good my college is very very strict so while events time only we can be little arms for that reason we were always waiting for the events and cultural programs and all but one small drawback is everyone can't participate the events their some politics will happen so but whoever having strength or knowledge can win the events.

We have a very hectic exam structure where with in 2 months we have internal exams so we have to write assignments and submit before that and lab exams are very frequently conducted in the college before we conclude with the final semester exams. After the completion of the semester exam we have given a short period of holidays and after that our routine life with college will be started .
I have given my EAMCET exam which is conducted by state government to get an admission in engineering but my score was less so i have chosen my college i.e HOLY MARY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY in management quota because it has a huge spacious football ground where i haven't seen in any of the colleges near by because i love football and i was a part of my college football team.

Course was good. Learn few important concept on programming and computer architecture. Almost all subjects are there which should be part of course except Computer languages was not taught much. Just small basics which is not quite enough for future prospective in modern tech world. Physics faculty was good . And mathematics also lot of concepts would be clear. Overall it was nice experience. But examination process is too bad. Can't want to discuss but there are lots of rumor of paper checking which had create panic situations in exams.
Fees is like all private institute demands 4 lac approx for 4 year course of b.tech. No hectic in exams and labs. Most of them it was chilling. Fees doesn't matter if college faculty, infrastructure etc all is good. I spend good time there and it was nice experience. But still there is room for improvements which is necessary.

Exam structure is uniform and same across all colleges in university. It has appropriate standards which check all the basic-knowledge for the subject and must-know-essentials too. There happen to be 2 sessionals and 1 end-semester examinations with 2 practicals (internal-external), per semester. Hence the frequency of examinations with less-syllabus helps to prepare for the end-term without much effort and students learn rather than mugging-up.
Unable to comment as being an alumni, this must have been revised during these years. But the fee is comparable(even less) than the other private institutions of this tier. with sufficient benefits for economically-challenged. The free structure is very much feasible, but do consider this is a private institution hence, is more than the fee-structure of govt-colleges under the university.
Exam structure is normal like in any college or school ,our labs is also very good we always want to go in lab because ac only in labs not in class rooms so we many times go in labs but our exam structure is bad somewhere because sometimes exam happens in canteen also because student is more then seats in class room so it happen in canteen.
I doesn't gave any entrance exam but I gave out exam which I doesn't qualified so I take admission in Delhi university because they are having b.tech course first time in history so I take b.tech in Rajdhani College Delhi university but after one year we know that we are the first and last batch of b.tech.
Yes, it’s possible to get college credit for participating in an internship with PETA—in fact, we encourage it! Almost all our interns earn school credit for their internships, and we look forward to working one on one with you and your school to provide you with the best educational experience possible. Requirements for receiving internship credit vary by school, so we recommend that you check with the career services office at your school.
Assessment is student oriented, and should be useful to departments and programs. The Office of Assessment coordinates this process for Trinity College of Arts & Sciences, and can provide help and additional information. The gender ratio was balanced enough at least for CS/IT branches. We had 3:2 ratio for boys:girls. Most students were from Northern India given the demographic. ICC was one of the society. The labs were well maintained and had enough resources to work on our projects. Microsoft also had the Innovation Center wherein students were given access to some paid resources like Cloud, licensed IDE's ,Hardware etc. Robotics and Debates were also part of the course. But not enough heed was given to them in order to make students more engaged in them. I hope that extra co-curricular will be given a priority as academics are not everything.
Technical - Various inter branch Technical events ie Seminars, Workshops, Quizzes, Debates etc. Cultural - Celebrating various festivals like Diwali, Holi etc. The fests had good footfall, guven the strength of the college and other colleges in the vicinity. It did see the footfall of over 10-12,000 throughout a 3 day even. Then there are different fests for PGDM,MBA students as well.
Oh, it is really excellent. The faculty/lectures are very good at finishing the units/contents/subjects. We got really wonderful faculties and they did their job beautiful and they are doing it still. I really miss my faculties and waiting to meet them again. The entire team is good at teaching and competing the course and talking the internals. Excellent.
