It was good, not very difficult. I was able to manage it along with sports as I had to travel 55 K.M. everyday from my rented apartment to college. Subjects varied each year, few of the subjects were same & 2-3 new were added like, first year had english, business law, literature, economics & material management. 2nd year had hindi instead of english as a language & then 3rd year had english again. Never understood the reason behind that. Now second year had another subject accounts being added then 3rd year had computer as additional subject in continuation to what I had in 1st year.

I completed my 12th & didn't have much idea or guidance on what to do. Everyone was either going to college or army or abroad for higher studies. Well I personally thought I can do that too but funds didn't allow. Since I was more into sports so couldn't crack the scholarship either. I cracked an entrance for an MBA college but fee was too high. In the end joined Delhi University. Since was good with sports so got into College of Vocational studies, course Material Management as suggested by one of the known teachers.

Yes, I do have experience which i want to share, One day i was sitting with my friends in the class and it was a class of strategy management, teacher pointed us and asked where are from to our group and all of us coincidentaly belongs to uttar pradesh, he started laughing and said thats why you all are friends and sitting along.

Many companies came as placements started in the month of September about 200+ companies visited our campus and in that fortunatly our batch of 300 + students got placed. Maximum package were around 17 laks per annum as its was an international placement and lowest package was around 3 lacks per annum.

The management of the college is very good. There facility is very good in every propose in our college. They manage every student and work in our college is very carefully. The college is very good of commerce student the college is basically commerce student. And the college have very good goodwill.

There was no placement and job. That was a degree course college, that's why there was no placement and job opportunities.

The institute will make available and cooperate in getting scholarships to S.C./S.T. and other deserving backward classes. It will also institute scholarships in coordination with industries and institutes for deserving and meritorious students. Free ships / concessions in fees will also be offered to meritorious students. Loan Facilities for students also available through banks such as State Bank of Travancore. For limit up to 4 lakh,they charge 3.85% above base rate, Presently 13.80 %p.a. It is affordable and repay the loan after completing 4 Year course.

Our seniors are very co operative and friendly to all juniors. They help in all fields such as studying,doing project works etc. Our seniors take one week of classes in each semester to our batch. My seniors especially Rajesh,He helped me a lot to find solutions to theories,assignments,lab records etc. Basically on first year i thinks that seniors are the cruel characters of all colleges, but within few days i changed a lot. They all came to our classes on intervals to share their thoughts.

The fee structure is a little on the heavier side and can prove to be a very strainful given the return on investment. A fee of 12 lacs (includimg hostel fees) is not really affordable by everyone and we did expect a better bargain on the packages offered after paying this sum.

The faculty was well experienced and equipped with industrial experience. It was a good learning experience overall. However, it seemed that the faculties were sometime not really very interested in passing on that knowledge to the students and restricted

Extracurriculars were particular interesting, exciting and awesome,Which includes both Technical and cultural fest. Labs were well built and maintained. College has an awesome cricket ground,swimming pool,indoor stadium for badminton,A normal tennis court and a silicon tennis court,along with Gym. Institutions hosts a lot of Debates, technical Symposium and Conferences.

Placements are really good in Numbers and Will TCS taking 22 people in 2010,70 people in 2011, 110+ people in 2012 and so on. Companies started to Hire more students from the college.Tech Mahindra,Accenture,Infosys,BEL etc. Companies visit the campus.

Campus life is best in Hans Raj College. There are a lot of things happening in college all the time. Canteen area is very famous for hangout in break time. Societies can seen practising and planning event.Gender ratio is almost equal with diversity of out-state students.Labs are clean and tidy with complete equipments. Archery and shooting is very famous in college. There is separate indoor playing area and a large outdoor playing ground.

The exam is usually easy with a pattern having 8 questions where we have a choice to attempt any 5 questions. This choice based structure helps a lot. The exam happens in the end of semester. Only Internal happens in the end month of the semester. Other than that there are no exams whatsoever. Small class test may be held depending upon the teacher.

We have exams annually in an Year. and the timings were pretty good. Exam starts at 2.00 pm and ends at 5.00 pm that is the best time to commute for students who come from far distance we also have marks for Viva. Professors from out side the university will come and conduct the Viva.

We celebrate Freshers Day for those start their career in our college to welcome them.We celebrate Independence day and Republic day. Farewell Day for seniors as well we do cultural activities at the time of these functions some good fests were conducted.

COLLEGE HAVE HIGHLY QUALIFIED AND experinced facult : especially head of the departments having experience of industrial jobs for e.g. mechanical HOD is the editor of 9001 and mstly teacher are mtech and phd graduate.

The college fee is according to the UPTU norms no extra money is taken by college. sometimes if a student is not able to give his fee on time due to some genuine reason then flexibilty is provided to that student.

Our college provides all kinds of fun elements along with education during the 3yrs. Students are encouraged in taking part in quizzes, debates and all. The gender ration is 50-50. The college has common rooms for both boys and girls. It has different clubs- Quiz, debate, chess, cricket and all which helps students in excelling in these areas. To say so it is a cultural hoch-poch. Students from all race, religion, caste, class come here and are welcomed with open arms for only exceeling and improving in life.

College fests are a blast in our college. All the cultural programmes are also performed in a dignified manner. Since ours a Brahmo Samaj college hence pujas are not held inside it. But instead of that it is done outside the college premises. All HCCIANS crave for the fests every year. Its like madness.

I did my MAT and scored 75 percentile, I was looking for a college for my Post graduation and wanted an college in metro cities for better exposure and career growth. I did received an admission in Delhi but I chose Bangalore over it due to its better opportunity. We had an group discussion which was just formal and an one to one interview which was more of an preach of come join us please. They said that they have a limited seat which I later found it was not and asked for an token amount of 50k to reserve the seats.

They have an high ratio on paper but frankly when we were studying we hardly had any placement cells and I did get placed by an garment manufacturing unit with a very low payscale but I took it to gain experience. Placement cell was then developed and I hope that it is working now properly, I haven't heard any from the juniors about the same. We were asked to attend interviews which was a general interview posted in portals and it would be posted in Notice board for the same.

Of course the course curriculum is Some how fine.But we always fail in selecting elective subjects.Suppose in our 3rd year 2nd second sem we have one of my favorite subjects i.e micro controllers but we haven't taken that as our elective.

Our college campus is not too much large that we have not any football ground even. But we try too enjoy more in little space too much. Even our some annual sports also held. our college gender ratios are 1:1. labs are good. And robotics competition held on feb of every year.

Every semester we have total 2 internal exams. This exams are not too much hard, but lab exams give too much reliefs. Not so strict even. But we had to study hard for our examinations. And we have to study more hard before semester examination.

It was uncomfortable to say that in the college many student good and many student bad. Including seniors also i am thinking that a person has to be good in every situation to achieve his superior respect all over to him.

I believe that a company need a candidate, so it basically need to understand how honest and work hard. The right choice is to the director.

Events will be conducted like euphoria etc the time for students to exhibit their talents in various areas other than the daily academic activities the events during this festival of creativity are quiz, catwalk, mock press conference, choreography, solo singing, dumb charades, treasure hunt, antyakshari, pot-pourrie, movie quiz, mad ads, elocution, rangoli, mosaic and many more events coming to technicality: project report writing, use of teaching aids visits to work sites, industries, exhibitions, R & D organisations. Quiz programmes, competitions there is basketball court, football ground, tabletennis, carroms, volleyball ground.

There is no less for enjoyment also every year our college will conduct events like acumen, euphoria, kriti, swayam, traditional day acumen is purely technical fest various members from other colleges also participates every year euphoria is like our college anniversary in which celebrity people also comes as performers, swayam to encourage fresh ideas traditional day for students and the staff turning up in traditional attires, representing different cultures all of them redefines fun.

I give WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION and secured 2265 Rank. My dream was to be a Engineer specially Computer Engineer. According to my rank B. P. PODDAR INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY is best College for me. So i choose this college.

Faculties are no doubt our guardians just after our parents. you can consult your all kind of problem with them free frankly. even they will you special coaching if you have any problem to understand something.

UP State Entrance engineering. I got 6500 rank. I had options of ideal institute, indraprastha but i prefered this college as this was good for placements.

The campus was recently shifted from S.B. Road to the viman nagar campus and the constructed and effective building is huge, although it is not a funky campus or anything. Pretty simple, and you can even say kind of boring but the campus life is pretty great. There is no hostel for boys, and even for girls it is not compulsory to live in the college hostel.The extra-curricular and co-curricular activities are actually the soul of SLS - Pune and there are various cells which operate and carry out all kinds of activities possible.The mindset of the faculties and even the students who come here is very liberal from what I've come across, and people do not hesitate to speak up for what is wrong. The institution is headed by a Woman, so you can assume that there is hardly any gender discrimination.The student Council is an active committee and is completely managed by students. Being an outspoken person, I haven't come across any discrimination for my race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation. I think being an institution of law, if we do not follow the principles of equality and free speech then it would be pretty ironic. However, I am glad that the case is not so in here and people are respected for who they are.

The first step is to clear SET(Symbiosis entrance test), a test conducted by the SIU (Symbiosis International University). After clearing the cut off list, the successful candidates are called for the next step, which is PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test) which has no set pattern. If you manage to clear it then Voila! You can get admission in Symbiosis Law School, Pune. I chose it for myself because, apart from the top National Law Schools, Symbiosis holds its water and brand reputation to the T and it seemed the best option at the moment.

We celebrated the freshers' welcome where we got welcomed in our first year. The freshers' welcome was organised on the last day of the college before the pujas which made the event more important as we all were in the festive mood. The college social was organised just after the pujas and it became the medium of celebrating Bijaya. Many artists of high repute performed in both the occasions. Other than these two events there were annual sports organised every year in the month of January.

The college did not provide any opportunity for placements nor there were any campus interviews organised but the professors individually helped us by providing some referrals. Those referrals were of big help as those paved a smooth path for us. Also, at that time the name of college was enough for a student to get into a job.
