Course curriculum is prepared with intense pain to meet the requirements of the industry. Student will be exposed to each and every subject of the particular filed of engineering. Curriculum matches to GATE syllabus so students dont find difficult in clearing GATE exam.
College is having events everyday. There are six societies working hard day and night to deliver three major fests that too at national level. I being the head of technical wing can say its lot to learn in campus.
Placement is good but during recession there has been fall in recruiters but this should be temporary phase. Highest salary offered is to the tune of 5 lakhs per annum and may be more. However I think JU needs to work on this. Merely placing 100% students shouldn't be the target. It should look to leverage its INI status and brand value to attract big companies and not just the ordinary software services firms.
For admissions to the Engineering Faculty at the undergraduate level, students are admitted through the WBJEE, an entrance examination open to students from all over India.

Students politics is also there. Every year elections are conducted for four seats (president, vice president, general secretary, joint secretary. Every month one sports events are conducted in college.
A work placement gives you the chance to gain hands-on experience of the working world and can be invaluable to entering into your chosen career On some courses, work placements are compulsory in order to get your degree, while on others you can opt to do a placement as one of your modules. If this isn't the case on your course then you should still think about arranging a placement. Your careers service should be able to help you with this.Placement was weak & job oppurtunities were limited.
We always have major events with a well-known person as the main speaker (or sometimes a panel of speakers), smaller speaking events, symposia, film series, art exhibitions, poetry readings, musical performances, class activities, the reading and discussion of a book, workshops, formal and informal discussions, festivals and celebrations, the performance of plays, open mike events

In my opinion campus encourages students towards the goals they have no gender ratios are tollerated. Hostels are saperate for boys and girls no parties are encouraged we have many litrary clubs are organised to encourage debates and political talents.
Facility are to good they have high qualified faculties are available in thia college better conversation skill and experience have those facilities friendly behavior is to good and solve all queries about study.

Every year we had one technical and one cultural fest. Technical fest witnessed students from various other universities participating enthusiastically and then in wining the awards. Cultural fest had all the music, bands and the glamour.
I don't know much about it. But yes the college provides the loan/ scholarship to the students. Although I was amongst the top tankers I dint enquire about the scholarship program as the fees was quite nominal.
My opinion on campus life is good in extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions.
Ther are lot of company came as part of intership like HCL, TCS and WIPRO.
Our Course curriclum was of BE mechanical. 4 years of Course with 2 semester every year. Exam in each semester. If failed to clear each subject than we were allowed to take 2 subject next year. If failed to clear next year also than he/she would have to re appear for same class.
Only bad thing is fees of college, if that can be improved it is really good college to be in Pune univeristy. Also transportation is also not good that also need to be improved. we do have college bus but goverment bus facility is not available
Over all it is a good college. You can enjoy your college life. The only bad is the placements are not upto the mark. Every year there might be only 15% of placements and the rest have to try in off campus and drives held in cities. food and environment i
Exam structure, we will have 3 internal exams and one external exam for every subject. Internal exam marks will be considered for 20% and the external exam for 80%. External exam will have 8 theory questions out of which the student has to answer 5.
Best thing is college is not so costly. She. I was there it was arroung 1300 for a year. It is also based on course you have chosen. Hostel is also very cheap around 35000 per annum.Library available in very cheap cost around 200. No other charges taken by college administration. Exams fee is not so much it is around 500 to 1000.
Faculities are talented and able to explain topics. I find very good and experience professors.professors are knowledgeable and they are very co-operative. They help with everything from colleges issues to personal issues. I did had very good relations with professors.

Campus life was awesome with very much everyone from middle or higher middle class, Gender ratio was 60:40 with later relating to Male population all expected extra curricular activities were available in college, like cricket, tt, basket ball, competitions like e-informatics were held but nothing related to robotics as college didnt had an engineering arm.
Its very much feasible, It seems they receive government grant as well as they are subsidized by S H Kelkar, a very big fragrance firms in India the fees structure are as per University standards and for reserved categories its in hundreds per year fees are higher for Banking and Accounts or Bio-tech courses, those are some self financed courses.
I had written ICET for joining into MCA and I got 5000 rank in that exam. Actually in ICET counseling i got MCA seat in Tirupathi SV university campus and also in Kakathiya University campus seat but due to my financial status I was unable to bare monthly expenditure for outside city so that I was decided to join MCA in my home town only that's why I had chosen PNC&KR college as my option.
Its not feasible because the amount what we were paid not a simple amount and also not that much expensive. In 2005-2008 time my MCA 1st year university fee around 20k why I said its not so simple was most of the students who joined in that college were near by village farmers daughters, sons so that 20k is really not a simple amount to them.
