Our college will concentrate mostly on studies. So extracurricular,sports are given less importance in our college.gender ratio 40 boys and 30 girls in every class max.birthdays and new year party is allowed in hostels.there is no race and religion tolerance in our college.

Gender ratio depends on course.Automobile and mechanical have less females. Other branches like IT, EXTC have more females or equal no of ratio. Robotics event was conducted by IEEE body. Debates, workships and robotics was part of events under college festivals. No discrimination regarding race and sex. Politics was upto d management level which is obvious.

Inter college festival Ambrosia Purple. Each were conducted for 7 days. Active participation of ppl was common. Students and juniors were encouraged to participate in different events which will boosts their confidence. Many cultural and technical events in festivals were conducted. Competitions with other colleges were also conducted.

Fee structure is very low. It also helps the under quote families to full fill their dreams and hostel facility is available only for girls within the campus only. As we don't have hostel facilities provided and that was started at the time of ending our academic year. CMS College is rich with famed alumni, which includes former President of India RK Narayanan. Their are alumni associations held every year. Our seniors are the most friendly and cooperative lot I have ever seen.

The college is an autonomous one affiliated to vishweshwarya technological university. It holds three internals for 25 marks and the best 2 is taken and is tabulated to 50. The sem end exam is fr 100 and converted for 50. So the iinternal and external exam makes it 100 and the grading system and in CGPA.

I got into this college through K-CET. Its an entrance exam held by education department of Karnataka for admission of medial and engineering colleges. I scored 86% in the board exam and had a rank of 16111 . I had no better college for my rank and I had to opt for this college.

Campus life was supreb extracurricular were arranged time to time. Debates, indoor outdoor games etc. Participations was in good no. As there were many games organized like cricket, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess etc.

Our college is tied up MNCS in which have a chance to provide interns but they are providing a chance and lab experiancial faculty and good reputed companies like ultratech, bharati etc. And each year so many students got selected and i observed for the completion of their graduation so many companies came day by day and got placed so many students.

Great faculty. Need to add more finance aubjects though. Good for Marketting and operations. A lot of research oriented subjects are being taught. Innovation in finance and securieties are being taught few of which has been developed by faculty here. A international tie up with faculty enables international faculty to come and teach.

Intership placemrnts are good. Stipend is between 2000 to 42000. Big and top companies of india are coming and recruiting students. The intership for me was a life changing experience as I can use my skills and learn actual management tools that are used in a company.

The gender ratio is good. I mean it 3:1 ratio with boys outnumbering the girls there are various cultural societies but there is a lot of internal politics in those societies hence students should stay away from those.

The college hold a technical event called as avenir which is big in scale other regional colleges also participate in them. The annual festival also takes place every year at nazrul stadium.

There was many culturual and technical events hosted by college every year. There are many societies involved by students who took the leads for organizing these events. i didnt see any big event in my time so cant write here.

Alumni network is not that much strong . we have a facebook group so that we can discuss about the career opportunities and all stuff. I had the intraction with my alumni people many times.

Campus life is full of fun and recreation, the university is full of opportunities whether be in sports, fun events, technical events, social involvements through the nss, extra-curricular through the ncc, youth fests etc.In our department the gender ratio is 50:50 that is accurate gender equality. The first and sophomore year students enjoy freshers party while the final and pre-final enjoy the farewell party. Apart from this, there is a party in the annual tech fest where famous singers are invited to rock and roll along with the dj.Various seminars are conducted on a monthly basis about advanced technology and development. All the seminars are hosted by the placements department.There is no racial, sexual or economic inequality present in the university. Everyone treats everyone else equally irrespective of the religious, gender, economic differences.

Guru nanak dev university offers full time b.tech in computer science & engineering. Duration of the course is 4 years spread over 8 semesters. Computer engineering is a discipline that integrates several fields of electrical engineering and computer science required to develop computer hardware and software. Course is also available as self-financed.
