Not try so far for placement. I fear from interview. On some courses, work placements are compulsory in order to get your degree, while on others you can opt to do a placement as one of your modules. If this isn't the case on your course then you should still think about arranging a placement. Your careers service should be able to helpyou with this. The important thing about work placements is that they provide an opportunity for you to get to grips with working - meeting deadlines and working in a team. While a placement may enhance your knowledge and help with your course it can also help you find out more about a job or industry.

Somaiya has one of the most active and energetic campus in Mumbai. It is spread across acres and has amazing facilities for students. We have our own football ground, badminton court, gymkhana, huge chess board and so much more. Since it has minority admission for Gujarati students, lot of Gujarati speaking students can be found across the campus. Gender ratio is fair, however it again depends from course to course. Overall campus wise, equal number of boys and girls can be spotted. Students from various classes/religions/places come to the college and all are treated equally by the college administration as well as by fellow students. These three kinds of students are found in majority, Gujarati speaking, Maharashtrians and Muslims.

Placements vary from year to year, sometimes there are lot of firms/companies and sometimes very few. However in recent past, the placement cell of the college has managed to place students in prominent banks like HDFC and ICICI. Reliance and Deloitte have also picked students from our campus. Although for good placement offers, one should maintain consistent academic performance throughout the duration of course.

As mentioned the college all round the year has various events going on here and there You always feel overwhelmed and the surrounding of such a wonderful crowd coming from nearby places, It's always a great atmosphere being in college.

It was quite challenging and interesting and more probably it will cover all the basic topics for any pharmacy graduate. But i feel is like the curriculum should be related to the Industry point of view also so that the industry persons also will get some advantage of taking the postgraduates easily.

The faculty of the College were basically more in to the Research Oriented and capable of dealing with Great Academic background. But the faculty were very less in the experience in the terms of industry point of view and what industry is expecting from the fresh passed out students.

There is no placement & job opportunities. It may be listed some company's to be better future. That was a very weak point of this college but reason is that many of companies is no longer in States of Bihar.
