There are various types of activities done in our college and there's a separate student council. Every event in college is organised by this council. The heads of this board are elected by the students. Every year April is called as fest month as in month technical fests, Annual day, DJ night etc takes place. Various hackathons are being conducted. A few times celebrity visits also happen here to promote their movies.The library is my favourite place as it so spacious and have a wide range of Books.

Actually in my case the fee structure was different as I joined through Management quota but where as for the others who joined through seat allotment is different. For those who joined through government entrance exam they get some scholarship and for few full scholarship based on their rank and also they provide other scholarships too. Cybage is scholarship which they give a chance for the students get their all expenses paid

The overall campus. Life of LPU is really good and is very inspiring to all the students as in the campus. There are many things if Student and explore from sports club to cultural club to Social activity. Any sort of activity Students is interested in

The fee structure is quite low as compared to the top private engineering, colleges of India and which is quite a good thing. As many people can't afford the high paying fees of private engineering colleges, but help you give them a chance.

The college used to conduct arts called regalia every (year most probably between feb -may)and conducts Christmas, Onam, women's day, Union Day etc. Then rest no programs are there. The college is having a nice Library with a good availability of books. All classrooms have projectors of their own and the teacher uses projector most of the time. The lab facilities of the college is so nice. All labs are renovated now with high end specification PC's. The college use to conduct sports day Every year and used to conduct games like football,volleyball, cricket etc. The college is having variety of newly formed clubs such as literary and magazine club,coding club,quiz club, data science club etc

The college is following curriculum of Apj Abdul Kalam technological University. It strictly follows all the guidelines of University. Actually i was Passionate about computer science and took this course. But when came to reality the curriculum of ktu is not up to the mark. Certain changes need to be adopted on this curriculum to make students more professional. The ktu is following a tight schedule. It's saying that a semester is 6 months. But actually for ktu it's 3 months. Within 3 months, University conducts 2 series internal examination,1 internal lab examination and 1 University exam.

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my deqkcision to choose the course is the field of research and projects and the syllabus also They have prepared the curriculum very well and keep everything in there mind while preparing the curriculum . The course is well planned and it is helping us after completing the course as well If we appear for any interview or any exam these courses are very related to exams and interview so the course is very well planned actually

Actually my college is national institute of technology surathkl so it is government college so fees pattern is decided by the government actually The complete cost of my course is approx 3-4 lakh There are many types of scholarship are available if you want to do PhD you can apply for scholarship In canteen you can get part time job.if you will qualify gate you will get stipened

The college conducts alots of festivals. The annual festival is conducted in march mostly. And the technical festivalsare conducted almost every month from the commencement of the semester. The biggest festival of the college i.e Megha is conducted in the month of January. The library contains a wide range of books. It has both subjected related books and also casual reading books. It also has many magzines and contains newspapers of many years. The classrooms are decent having good ventilation and space to accommodate the students of a class. The computer lab of the college is also well equipped with computers, projectors and air conditioners providing a proper space for the students to focus on their practicals. The college encourages the students for participation in sports. The college has separate grounds for basketball, kabaddi, softball, football and cricket. The coaches help the students train for the tournaments with maximum efforts. Every department has it's own clubs.

The course contains all the programming concepts and also other topics in the field of computer science. The curriculum gives me a great insight in the real world applications and it adds up to my interest in learning further in the field of programming and computer science. The curriculum is kind of imbalanced. It has a good share of practical subjects but I feel that it should still focus more on the practical subjects rather than theory based subjects as the course is oriented to programming.

Since IT sector was in bloom during the time I took admission, this influenced me the most in taking admission in CSE department of this college. The college has good faculties who help a lot whenever needed and cooperate in every circumstances. I don't think there is any area where improvement is required as it is improving day by day be it placement wise or curriculum wise. The frequency of exams should be reduced to reduce pressure on a student.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. Many companies such as microsoft, amazon, walmart, adobe etc visit the campus every year. Highest package is offered by Atlassian which was 58.5lpa while average for CSE dept. was about 20LPA. The percent student who get placed is really good here even for core branches.

The overall experience is kind of nice. This got plenty of reason here are some of it. - annual events like BITOTSAV is organized and celebrities are invited. Hackathons are organized and many more fun stuffs. - Books, journals , novels are always available in the central library. - Faculties are always available for help , too friendly but formal faculties. - Sports and other activities happens frequently , sports meet is a preferrable option to gain some extra points and to develop senior interaction. - There are a plenty of clubs that provide productivity , fun activity , dance , singings , codings , and more...

The fee structure is volatile. Tuition fees increase approximately 20% each semester. It follows on the regular interval. Talking about the fees for 4 year btech programme it is nearly about 20,00,000 indian rupees including all the charges. There is a well known scholarship programme which is always active ( GP BIRLA SCHOLARSHIP) Which provides around to 50% scholarship of the semester fees per semester.

Infrastructure is very good and good facilities but hostel facilities and mess is not uptonthe mark for which they charge but still good , clubs are prosperous and very good engagement of students and organises many events , club wise its very engaging and fun , socail life is less since its only outside the ciry so only inside college , as such sporst not very extravagant but like normal and extracurricular are mostly covered thrigh clubs

Campus placement is realky a new thjng for architecture department before we had to apply by own but now new placement cell is being made but last year also they would areange for. Placement and most of them are placed from here and interenship oppurtunities are also good As per pacakges 12 lakhs a year was highest ig last year but not very sure and average is like 7-8 lakhs since junior architects dont earn much so

My choice was inspired by practical projects, case studies, and guest lectures because. The curriculum's emphasis on theoretical underpinnings and practical abilities efficiently prepares students for real-world applications.

ENGI is a fest which is held in the month of September and the most famous fest of NITK is INCIDENT which is mostly held in February. All types of books are available in the library. There are many sports activities are offered like inter-nit,pg cup, freshers cup. There are many clubs are conducted for music, communication, dancing, skill development.

From 5th semester students are eligible for placements. Most famous companies are Microsoft offers 52lpa, Cisco offers 25 lpa,KLA offer 36 lpa. The highest package is 52 lpa and average package is approx 15 lpa. More than 80 percent students are placed.

The curriculum is old fashion . it was last updated in 2012 also in NIT surathkal MCA comes under the MACS department . So, we have one subject of mathematics in each semester. and most of our teaher are having mathematics background still they are teaching computer science subjects. Teaching way is good and teahers gives their best.

Campus life is good . As their is no restriction for PG student . Enviroment is also good. being a north indian student i feel no such difficulty . Also , one more thing is that NIT Surathkal has its private beeach So we can go their for enjoyment and refreshment . as beeach is just 5 min away from the hostel.

Follows the traditional course curriculum as followed in IITs. First year is the common year for students of every branch which gives some students a chance to upgrade their branches if they wants to and later from the second year every department gets self centred in their respective branches.

A negative fact about the institution is that the institution fees is increasing at a rapid rate. Though the institution provides scholarship to the meritorious students based on their CGPA. Some students also avail government scholarships.

The fees are very nice and affordable in comparison to other colleges in BCA courses. Yes, to complete education they include all the fees like service fees, library fees etc. Scholarship around 20k for a year. campus placement is not good.

Internship opportunities are very low and companies are not coming there. A maximum of 10 are coming in every year. If the company are coming then they are directly sitting in hr round which is not a good thing without giving exams.

NITK hosts two fests annually, namely, Engineer and Incident. Engineer is a technical fest held in the month of October, while Incident is a cultural fest held in the month of March. A wide range of books and journals are made available in the Central Library for the students to borrow at their will.

Students enrolled in the Master Of Computer Applications are placed very well yearly, with packages averaging 12 to 15 CTC, and the highest package going up to 53 lakhs per annum. A wide variety of companies come to the campus to offer placements to the students.

The course of my interest is so vast and it has different disciplines within it which is more interesting from one to another. The provided lab facilities was poor initially but they have improved it alot. The teaching methods are fine but more practical experiences could be made for the students from the college side. Sometimes the portions won't be covered properly and those portions will be told to study on our own. Sometimes it feels difficult. The exams usually are conducted in a hurry burry manner.

Each year the annual day Or the cultural day is conducted. Programs related to occasions are conducted and involved. The library is very vast and includes books for each department in the college in different shelves. Similarly the sports is conducted intra as well as inter collegiate level.

Internships start from 5th semester and students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester.many companies like isro, Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, tech Mahindra,many Mass recruiters like tcs,wipro visit the campus and offer placements based on your interview and how well you interact with the other person .the highest package is 58 lakes and the average package is around 11 to 12 lakes.roughly 85 to 90 percent get placement .

My teachers suggest me to Mathematics honours. And I also wanted to become a scientist from my childhood. I also love to do experiment. So I choose this cource. I heard that here teachers are very good. So I joined this institute. The curriculum prepares me very good to step in real world. There are no such advice to improve, all is previously improved. There are total 6 semesters in our cource. Per year 4 exams are held, 2 mid-sem exams and 2 end-sem exams i.e. all year 4exams are held. The exams are too tough and few common questions we can find.

There held annual prize distribution, annual sports etc. There are a very big library, with various types of study books, story books, novel, etc in a huge number. There are projectors in all classrooms. Our classrooms are airfilled are brightfull. There held many sports competition, essay, recitatation etc. There are no student clubs.

The chemical engineering deals with preparation of chemical drug or various designed machines for the part . It is integration of mechanical and biotech . It also has essence of Environmental engineering. You can be a waste water manger in manu of the big private sectors. As with rise of lage mining production in India treatme Process are goint to play a vital role and hence the demnad of chemical engineers will be more .It has an average package of 9 lakhs per annnum . The curriculum plays very well and make job efficient. Every subject has a outcome making you job efficient,you will even be taught subjects other than engineering like English, in which your communication skills will be developed and management to help you job ready.

Campus life is quite decent as compared to other engineering colleges .The hostel rooms in first year are quite conjusted with four people in a room . The campus Is outside the jalandhararound 15-16 km hence neighboring region is not quite developed. Some of the clubs are quite engaging like bhangra, fine arts and ports while other club lack involvement .the budget given to clubs is also quite decent many of the times students have to arrange money for the events. The library has developed just recently and now has quite good availability of books while teading room is very good with many modern tech included
