Biotechnology is more practical knowledge rather than compare to other subjects which are only theoretical knowledge. What I had experienced on this campus was all about fun and no continuous classes, we always had 2 or 3 free periods daily at first we thought it would be only at the beginning of the classes but later we got to know that this is how it is. The library is good in the campus.

Curriculum as I believe is backward. Faculty members of my branch Mechanical Engineering are not cooperative as compared to faculty of other engineering departments. Mechanical Engineering could be better had it no seniors who instead of motivating the juniors to go well by the time, tell them not to study. Exam timings are suitable as far as I know. For teaching methods improvement is required on the seriousness of the teachers regarding syllabus like they should not pile up at the last moment that in 15 days you're completing the syllabus. That's not the correct way. And not to mention, Mechanical Engineering was not my choice,it was just a medium for initiation of branch change. Hence I don't see any particular aspects in its curriculum.

Technical fest this year was an outstanding one Techsrijan being the name. And I feel cultural fest i.e. Abhyudaya could have been good, had the sponsorship been done better. Books and journals are available well enough. Classrooms are good and technological provisions are satisfactory, though they are not used enough. Sports and extracurricular activities are satisfactory no doubt. Seniors are good, but most of them brag about themselves uselessly, and they just come out of nowhere without any particular permission. I hate the format of introduction to seniors as well as when asking their names, it's freaking useless. Clubs they organize are okay, but they are not as knowledgeable as people should introspect.

Teaching methods is very good for understanding all the lectures done by the doctors and our staffs practical aspects of teaching must be needed more to understand the subjects. The duration of each semester is 6 months, exams will be scheduled in the starting of the academic years to each sem. The level of examination is not much difficult if we understand and do everything

Fees structure for the course per annum is 143000 including examination fees and University fees. Other charges like Apron fee, scrub fee, miscellaneous fees and so on will be there. The total overall complete cost of my education is nearly 700000 including all my fees and hostel stay too.The tuition fees will be paid in 2 installments on starting to join the course for the one academic year, on completing the academic year the next academic year fees will be paid. Scholarship is available for us which is been provided through government. Government scholarship can be applied and be redeemed after applying and sanctioned of the scholarship, government availed scholarship will be useful to the students who comes under reservation category. Reservation category scholarships are been applied in the university office after joining of few months to the course. No campus placements here, stipends are awarded only to internship students and no stipend is awarded for us for the complet2 years.

The intra structure of the college is very big and huge and we get lifts in our class in our buildings and there are stairs also very big size and there is a little bit of crowd but you can manage it because it is a great University and there are three food courts and lots of more things like football grounds and other ground.

In the first sem, we have to pay 57000 and in the second sem we have to pay 57000 and an additional 36000 fee for exams and uniforms and other charges of schooling in total we have to pay 116000 and we get a scholarship in our second semester according to our 12th class marks

College life here is very good like you get a beautiful and a big campus, having a lot of things inside it. College events keep going every month. The annual events are Saturnalia, thapar food festival and Urja . Thapar has a very huge library having thousands of books which is easily accessible to students. In classrooms we have projector and teachers writes on his device which is displayed on the screen in front. Sports including Cricket, badminton, football,table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball etc , having well furnished grounds and coach.

I enrolled in computer engineering because of my interests in coding. The curriculum here prepares for the real life things , the college societies organise various events which increases ones confidence, coding skills etc. Academics includes C language in semester 1 and no coding subject in semester 2 , which can be improved, like computer engineering students should get computer subjects in their first year also. Exams occurs twice per semester,MSTs and ESTs and difficulty level is normal.
