University of Exeter has specific admission deadline for UG admissions. Since the applications are accepted through UCAS, international applicants are advised to submit applications before January 15.

For the PG admission, the university does not have any fixed time frame. All the applicants are encouraged to contact the admission office to know the appropriate timeline to submit applications.

English Proficiency Requirement for International Students

Visa Process for International Students

International students must have the Tier 4 visa clearance for almost six months while applying for the courses. For Tier 4, aspirants must have 40 points:

  • 30 points - A valid Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a Tier 4 sponsor
  • 10 points - Enough money for college tuition, application fee, and living costs.

Applying for visa costs around 348 Pounds. The applicants must apply for a visa at least 3 months prior to the start of course.

Applicants must provide the following documents when applying for the visa:

  • Passport and travel documentation
  • Financial support proof
  • A tuberculosis test result
  • Acceptance letter
  • Original transcripts and other academic records

Conditions of tire 4 visa

  • Students can work up to 20 hours a week during their studies
  • Applicants can bring their spouse to the UK on dependent visa
  • Dependent are allowed to work or study while in the UK.

Note: Applicants who do not meet the minimum grades for the courses offered at the university are required to take up a recognised Foundation Year Programme offered by institutes like INTO.
