DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are good in my college especially for cs/it and se packages are great. Core companies are less comparatively but there is also good no. of jobs. Top recruiters are Google, Samsung, epic, cisco, Microsoft, IOCL, BHEL, IAF, Indian Navy. During this pandemic visiting companies are less like google didn't come for placements. In software branches, 95-97 percent of students are easily placed. Core branches are on the weaker side in this college. Around 450 companies come every year for placements and internships and easily 700-800 students get jobs. The highest package offered was around 45 lakhs and the average was 12 lakhs. I plan to get a job at the college itself.

You can get internships in the 3rd year of your B.tech but some opportunities are also for 2nd-year candidates. Placement starts from 4th year and also you can grab a pre-placement offer after your internship. As I also told previously placements are very good in tech branches. You can assure of your placement if work is good enough. There are also some international opportunities available. You can grab those also but competition is tough for those.

From 3rd semester students can apply for internships at the campus and many multinational companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, and Walmart visit the college for placements average package offered in 2021 placements was 18 LPA and approximately 70-80% gets placed in technical branch

Very companies visit on our college for tech and non-tech placements both but non-tech opportunity is very low as compared to tech opportunity. Some major companies which visit our college are Adobe, Amazon, Microsoft, and sprinkler, etc, and a lot. Almost 95 % of students of my branch got selection in companies and in a decent package. but in overall college approx 80 % students placed. I would like to do MBA after doing 2 years job in the private sector.

Over 300+ companies come to DTU in placement season. You can grab an internship in the 3rd-year summer break and if you do that honestly same company will give you a permanent job in placement time. In 4th-year placement starts. In the COE branch, 80%+ students get placement offers.

Mainly the hiring of students for placements is started in 5th semester. There are maine 10-20 companies that visit i n the university for placements like paytm amazon ,google etc. The highest package of DTU was 1.27 Crore and the average CTC is about 11.17 lakhs PA. In DTU nearly 90-95% of tech students get placements in good companies. After Getting the degree i will persue for higher studies like MTECH or PHD and also try to getting government job.

I choose production engineering as I was very curious about machines when I was small, I used to open every machine which I found in my house, once upon a time I even opened my inverter so from that time onwards an interest in machines developed in me and now dtu my college give me this opportunity to study about machines. There are 78 students in my batch and the faculty also is very helpful and very keen to solve our problems. All the teachers are very educated and very punctual and they time to time exams so that our preparation will run on a proper track.

Placement in DTU is very nice. Approx 70-80% students got placement in campus interview. From 3 year you are eligible for internship and from 4 year you are eligible for job. Lots of companies are come to DTU to offer lots of offer. Some major companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Sprinkler, and many more. Highest Domestic package for CS ,IT students are approx 1 crore and average package is 15LPA. For other branches also placement are good and got an average package of 8LPA. After graduation I want to go for government sector by appearing in UPSC exam also i have an other option for appearing in GATE to go for M.TECH.

DTU offers good placements and students get opportunities to work with companies like google ,microsoft, etc. Students gets average package 12l. 80 is minimum percentage for students to sit in placements.

The placement drive was conducted during the April- May month and it was divided into 3-4 rounds. Most of the students got placed in the first and second rounds of the interview. Around 85-90% of the batch got placed.
