DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

According to my rank, I got civil branch. Excellent faculties with great enthusiasm and power o energy. Highly qualified teachers and faculties members. Easy to crack exams of mid as well as end sem take 2 weeks for crack the exam.

Students are eligible for placements after the 6th semester. Around 300 companies visited and offers were around 1800. The highest package was given by Google of 1.2 Cr for the Software Developer role. The average package was around 11 lakhs. More than 90 percent of students who sat for placements, got placed. I plan to do further studies and go abroad.

Students become eligible for internships from 3rd year(5th semester) and for placement from 4th year(7th semester). Placements are the reason why students prefer DTU over any other engineering college in Delhi or any other state. There are almost 300+ companies visiting throughout the placement session. It does not matter which branch you are in there are endless companies that are hiring students from every branch and are open to all branches. without a doubt, I can say DTU has one of the best placement processes.

4th-year students, from the 7th semester, are eligible to sit for on-campus placement. Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Bain&Co., McKinsey, Texas Instruments and Qualcomm are some of the top companies that visit our college every year. There are 100+ offers made every year. The highest domestic package ranges to 40 lpa by apple and the average package is around 15 LPA. More than 80% of students get on-campus placements. I am going to join Bain&Co. as an analyst after getting my degree.

Lots of placement opportunities available in the university. Average package is 1200000 - 1500000 lakh per annum CTC. Placement eligibility is after 3rd year and internship eligibility is after 2nd year

The campus placements are a well known quality of Delhi Technological University. Well known companies and MNCs visit the university to recruit and offer very nice packages. There are a lot of overseas job offers as well.

The course right now is not what I expected from a Computer science degree. We are currently being taught Mechanical engineering, physics, and chemistry which is not required for Computer science as a subject. Hope things go well in 2nd year. The faculties are helpful.

internships start from the 5th sem and placements from the 7th sem, you will have to prepare for them separately since the curriculum wouldn't help you clear any interviews. highest package last year was 1.5cr and the campus also offers international opportunities. 16lpa is the avg package-tech percentage of students placed is also highly impressive around 95%
