About MAHE B.Des
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) offers a four-year, full-time B.Des in 10 specialisations. Fashion Design and Interior Design are taught at the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning in Manipal. The other eight are taught at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology, the MAHE campus in Bengaluru. The full fee without hostel is INR 9.82 Lakhs for Fashion Design, INR 10.54 Lakhs for Interior Design and INR 29.94 Lakhs for each Bengaluru course. Manipal seats go through MET and a design test, and Bengaluru seats go through SMEAT. MAHE holds NAAC A++ and Institution of Eminence status. The fees without hostel is INR 9.82 Lakhs for Fashion Design, INR 10.54 Lakhs for Interior Design and INR 29.94 Lakhs for a Bengaluru course. MAHE B.Des Eligibility
You need a Class 12 pass with 50% aggregate for Fashion Design and Interior Design, and a Class 12 pass for the Bengaluru courses. Any stream is fine for both. You then need MET and the design test for Manipal, or SMEAT for Bengaluru.

MAHE B.Des Scholarships
The MAHE Scholar scholarship takes 20% off the programme fee for the top 5% of the batch with 80% or more in Class 12. It covers the Manipal courses, not the Bengaluru courses. It stays for all four years if your CGPA stays at 8 or above.
