Placement Experience:
The companies visited are Infosys, Deloitte, Amazon, etc. Almost all students are placed. Especially the students from cse are placed 100 percent. I don't know much about the process. The alumni are very good.

It is an upcoming college with good infrastructure and facilities. The placement scenario is good and the syllabus is up to date. The teachers are well versed in their subjects. This college also encourages you to take up projects and internships to better your resume for the industry. Particularly for the Computer Science branch, the opportunities are plenty and sufficient. All the main topics for higher studies are taught along with other necessary skills such as Business Communication

One of the best universities in the private sector and also the placements, this was my feeling before I joined the college but the reality is something different. Big words but delivers zero. Only a few professors are up to the mark others are just useless. Nepotism occurs in various societies of the university. Takes a lot of money but not at all worth it 16 lakhs for 4 years is huge. In Engineering, most of the companies coming for placements are sales companies. They will promise you of so many things but only delivers disappointment. For even 1000 rupees due they will ask like beggars. 16 lakhs is huge Think five times before joining this university.

What is your review of KIIT University?
Kalyan SahuLives in Bhubaneshwar
Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.
