I opted for this college as I had low score in jee mains and among private college it was the only one I had given entrance. If given the chance now I would not choose it as in terms education it is a big zero. In terms of placement, they do call companies but the number of students they take is in thousands so limited options with you. You are not allowed to sit for multiple job offers if you have one and unless the other company is offering more than 2x.

The branch which I sought was available and the college ranks below 30 in NIRF so I chose this college which happens to be in my home city as well. Clubs and extra activities are given full support and I had known a few seniors who had graduated from KIIT.

Placement Experience:
For internship thing you are eligible from 3rd year, for placement thing again I will say if you are opting for core Branch the placement thing is worse here but yes if you want to go for IT, marketing & sales field you can have that but then again why to opt for core Branch when you want this kind of placement. Core branch had 8 companies at my time with maximum of 30-35 students getting placed from this University, and overall 50-60 students got placed from this University out of 320 students.
Yes, the percentage of places students in core branch in approx 20% yet the University claims for 100% placed students which is totally a fake thing and a matter of shame. I also thought of getting placed but yes I was not top 20-30 students from my branch and was unplaced and is now preparing for other exams.

Placement and campus attracted me to this college. Amazon came that year for recruitment so I joined this one. But this college is below my expectation and I am regretting now. Academics are not so good.

What is your review of KIIT University?

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students. You can read about the placement activities of this university from KIIT University Placements.
