- The easy access to the professor, and non academic staff when we face some issues makes me very comfortable in the college

- When you will be new you will also face difficulties with the weather

- Campus life in KIIT is vibrant and you'll meet and socialize with people from all around India
- The food outlets around and near KIIT are diverse and good.
- KIIT is situated close to the Airport and Railway station both are reachable under 30 minutes under average traffic conditions.
Dislikes
- Mess food can be very bad sometimes, even unhygienic too.
Placement Experience:
Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA.
NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.

- Here most of the students don't study. They waste their time in other stuffs
- Here average package is good but the median package is 4.5 lpa which is not that good
Placement Experience:
Placements are pretty decent here.Average package is 8lpa.Median salary is 4.5lpa.Highest salary is 62 lpa for the 2024 academic year as per now. Many companies come here to provide internships also in 2nd year and 3rd year.companies like JP Morgan came for code for good hackathon for 2nd year students in 2024.Amazon,razorpay , Deloitte and many companies provide internships in 3rd year

- I like places (rose garden ,mba ) plus the library here you can read till 9 for girls and as for boys whole night is open to you .
- You can learn swimming and all here plus about tech stuff.
- Exciting hackathon like you can compete with people or go with groups to other hostel with ur project .
Dislikes
- Hostel like it's worst place anyone can be since the fooding is not good plus if u get bad roomates changing is a heck lot of work .
- Teacher panel many of them will behave rudely not willing to also teach and give marks you have to be stubborn.
Placement Experience:
Like among 5000 students as far as I have heard approx 3500 was being placed yes rest had to compromise and go for high radius but otherwise placement is good but remember to keep cgpa above 8 or else you cannnot even sit for many exams .do projects make a GitHub and make a professional resume work on skill and coding and u are good to go .Don't just constrain yourself to a single domain being engineering students you have to keep your doors open since competition is very high and u are one of the student in lakh .

- Our hospital is very good, it is a super speciality hospital.
Dislikes
- The faculties are not up to the mark and don't have proper coordination.
- Washrooms are very unhygienic and not maintained properly.
- The lab classes are not held properly at all.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is very hardworking as nursing is a professional field and noble job. I think as students a lot of presssure is given on us . We don't get holidays except sundays and also we have go for clinical duty , if we do absent during clinical hours then we have to stay over and do makeup duty during vacation time. We only get 15days summer vacation which I think is very less.
We don't get any semester break.

KIIT: 1 Answered Question
What is your review of KIIT University?
Kalyan SahuLives in Bhubaneshwar
Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
