- It’s a Big campus, you can almost call it a University. The campus has all arts & science, commerce, Engineering and MBA programs. It is a campus which is in the heart of the city, yet it is peaceful because of the nature that surrounds it.
- Diversity people come from various backgrounds and places, you won't find a similarity among most of the college mates as there are people coming from all around the world.
- Leniency, there no strict curfews for hostels, and also students can enter and exit the college whenever they want to.
Dislikes
- Not a Coeducational the number of girls are low because it’s primarily known as a boys college, the girls usually can and have the option to join Viscom,Zoology etc and that too they can’t opt for shift 2 in some of these courses.
- Old syllabus the college provides you with a old syllabus that is not updated.
- No Cut-offs people get admission based on their religion and reservation, the college prefers a “Tamil” with 58% than a person with 96% who’s from a different state.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is a great and a valuable course, economics is valued all over the world. It can build a person's life, the course offers you with various opportunities and experiences. The only problem is the syllabus and the lack of maths based curriculum in the course. The faculties also are not specialised in maths, meaning one has to self study for his extra knowledge so that he can keep up to the level of other colleges.

- The aspects of the college which i love is their infrastructure, their locality, their teaching methods, their canteen and hospitality.
- The need for improvement lies in providing more spacious and ventilated classrooms.
- MOP Vaishnav College has fantastic placements including companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, KPMG, etc.
Dislikes
- The Benches and Tables of the classrooms are not of highest quality.
- The fee structure is not affordable for all
- The entire college is crunched and apartment-like, no free campus

From the 3rd semester, students are eligible for placements.
Companies visited are Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, TVS.
Highest package is 80000 rupees per month, average package is 30000 rupees per month and the lowest package starts at 15000 per month.

- I had liked the faculty member while taking classes it was understandable and they help us to study well.
- I had liked the course that i have taken i guess it will help to boost up the carer in future.
- I had liked the culturals, events, that had happened in the college. I had liked the library of my college.
Dislikes
- I don't liked canteen. There is no enough foods and varieties to eats
- Sudden exams that and all I don't likes.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have been studying economics it will help me to boost up my careers in future. The studies would help the person in well manner if we have degree we can do some jobs that related to the studies to survey the world. If we not studied how will we able to work. We have a responsibility to study in the exam times if we not studied its our mistake.

- I liked the college when the college is giving more unwanted holidays
- I liked the college when college is open until 10 30 the actual time is 9 30
- I liked the college at the time of Friday every week they leave us before 1pm
Dislikes
- The college has only have few programs the programe also not good.
- The college doesn't have any internship or industries visit.
- The basic needs are not much as clean and hygiene.
Placement Experience:
After the 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. No speacific companies are offered. The highest package is about 5 lake per annum. The percent of student should be above 8%.I planned to join in any good company.

- The restrooms doesn't have proper access to water and no other issues

The course which I chose over the college is too interesting as it's going to be there future.. after enrolling over their for Bachelors of commerce in corporate secretaryship we can also join extra course for the higher studies so it's easier for our future

- Has better infrastructure and has best auditorium in it.
- Has big and best library with lots of book collection.
- Senior faculties are very good and knowledgeable.
Dislikes
- Junior faculties are not so good and need some experience.
- Not so good canteen facilities and need more improvement.
- No bus facility is available and it's very needed thing.
Placement Experience:
We are variety of placement opportunities are available in our college as a lot of companies come in for job interviews in our college campus during our last semester.
Aceture is one of the company came for our interview.
If not campus interview is selected for me I would be opting to do my master degree and in case of other students they would be opting to in campus and out campus job offer that would be conducted as job fair every year in Chennai.

- Campus Environment and the way the college is constructed
- Some teachers who were very friendly even though I was not their department student and also they are not my teaching faculty.. specially my department faculties who were very keen to encourage students despite facing many internal politics..
- Conducting Assembly and encouraging students to focus on all aspects other than studying by giving different prizes to the winners of different competitions
Dislikes
- Only the department with the highest Students get the chance to conduct assembly every week .. other departments are sometimes isolated in the college ..
- Department with highest population and faculties with higher qualification highly dominate the department with less students strength... They were given special attention or priorities in all college activities..
Placement Experience:
Students are prepared for placements from 5th semester, they are given proper training and counseling by the placement coordinators of the college and also from the alumnis who have been selected in placements from studying in this college.. they are called to give a lecture based on their experiences and how they are selected..
Companies such as Accenture, TCS , are encouraging students with placement offers based on certain eligibility criteria ..
Many students are rejected from placement opportunities because of their arrears.. sometimes students who are really capable are also getting affected when they are absent for semester due to a genuine reason but they are marked as arrears and cannot apply for placement ..
My plans after getting degree is to pursue a Master's degree..

The University of Madras is doing a great job as it is providing a distance degree with an affordable fee structure. If you are a working individual and do not wish to quit your job, then joining distance MBA here will be the best option.
The courses and the study materials provided are good. You need to put effort in your studies to succeed. Self study is necessary. If you desire to learn more, you could attend the classes.
After completing the exams you will receive your Provisional certificate, within 4 months you will receive the completion certificate.

The M.Sc entrance test conducted by Madras University is not very difficult and it is based on the syllabus of the qualifyng degree. The entrance test will be conducted for 100 questions (MCQs) for 2 hours. There is no negative markin system.
