VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Generally in the third year students start doing internships and industrial training followed by pre-placements in the third year 6 semester itself. Almost all top-notch companies called super dream offers like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, and Adobe visit the campus and mostly take by offering good packages with highest ranging from 25 to 50 Lakhs. Super dream offers are then followed by Dream offers with an average package standing at INR 8 LPA with a total of 7642 students getting placed followed by 12018 offers made. Moreover, a significant rise in companies visited, average, and the highest package was seen in the year 2022 when compared to 2021 by 2.25%, 70.45%, and 13.27% respectively.

From 3rd year, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like DeShaw, Microsoft, TCS, and KCL visited our college. The highest package offered in our college this year is 75 lakhs/yr. 2 students bagged this package. After getting my degree, I want to work at Google.

I choose this because my family suggested this. But I learn with my full consciousness. Here there is one faculty for every 30 members in the first year and the faculty number will be increased after the years change. It is very easy to pass the exams by the teaching of the faculty but if I do not listen to those it will be tougher to pass the examination.

Campus placement is only for the 6 semester students who are eligible to do work in the company or any software developers according to the branches the students gets the job this place taking in the institution the student who got above 80% percentage eligible for the placement the salary was explained in the institute management the minimum salary was 1 lakhs according to the experience the salary improve this was the placement in campus

From third year itself students become eligible for campus placements a lot of MNCs recruits here like TCS Microsoft Tata Cognizant Infosys etc. Average package is 700000 and highest CTC 7500000.if you are cse student you can get job easily

I choose this course because the college is one of the best know colleges here and the campus is awesome. the faculty to student ratio is 1:15 probably Our faculty are very good researchers from all over India and are dedicated towards their work We have 1 mid-semester and 1 end semester along with weekly practicals and viva

The faculty of the college has a deep knowledge of their subject and are quite experienced as well. They maintain a very good and calm atmosphere in the classroom for students. The exams are conducted regularly.

Top recruiting companies are Infosys , Wipro , Amazon , TCS , Capgemini , Cognizant , etc. comes with good offers. Highest,lowest and average package offered was 42 LPA , 5LPA , 6LPA. Mainly, 90% students got placed every year. I am going to do higher studies after my degree completion.

From the 7th Semester, Students become eligible for campus placements. More than 300+ companies have visited VIT and recruited more than 10000+ students. Some of the companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, NTT Data, NetApp, SAP, Microsoft, PayPal, Cerner, VMware, Jio, Nokia, Amdocs, Infosys, Intel, Mindtree, Oracle, etc... The highest package offered was 20 lacs by Microsoft Apart from that an average everyone was offered 5 lacs packages. 98 percent of students will get placed at our university. My plans after getting a degree got to be placed in good company and after 4 or 5 years have an idea to start my own business.

I chose mechanical engineering cause I didn't have much of an option. Although the faculty-student ratio is about 1:50 the number of students is very high, there is too much crowd on the campus and that kills the college vibes. The faculty and teachers are nice there are not many complaints about their knowledge or qualifications. The exams are taken very frequently with two internals and one final exam you hardly get 20-25 days gaps between the exams and in that too you have to deal with lots of assignments. Passing the exams is not much of a problem but still, it's very hectic.
