VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In 2022 the average package is 8.19 LPA.Every year average package is increasing.Vellore Institute of Technology has maintained an excellent placement record by providing its students with ample opportunities to blossom their career goals. The university has been ranked at the 28th, 55th, and 15th positions by the NIRF under the Overall, Management, and Engineering categories respectively. The placement season for the 2022 batch started on July 15. The institutes, 81 students from all four campuses of VIT Vellore, Chennai, Amarvati and Bhopal received the pay packages of above INR 25 LPA in its initial phase of placement season and the Highest CTC stood at INR 75 LPA.

Students can be placed from the 6 semesters or 7 semesters. Many MNC visits VIT to recruit students. there are super dreamy offers that are above 30LPA. Microsoft, Google, Apple, Wipro and many more visit here and make a number of offers ranging from 5 LPA to 75LPA.the highest package in 2021 was 75 LPA and on average it is 7-8 LPA for CSE/IT students. more than 95% of students get placed in reputed companies. My plan is to complete my master's and settle in the software sector and develop some interesting projects.

After semester 5 onwards ig students become eligible for campus placements. Various top tier companies visit our colleges such as Microsoft, Wipro, Google, Facebook, mantra, ola, uber, Infosys and various others. More than 10k offers were made with 100 being super dream offers. Around 60% of students get placed but I am not too sure about it. My plans are not yet decided I will either go for placements or for the UPSC exam or for any other top government job or for a startup. Also, VIT has a very good environment for startups and they also support it too.

There are mainly 2 types of packages offered in vit, i) Dream Offer (5 LPA+), ii) Super Dream Offer (10 LPA+) . There are many companies that visit VIT and u get an ample amount of opportunity so, it all depends on the student and his ability. the highest package was 75 LPA.

The placements at VIT are really great the average package is mostly 7-8L, and there are dream packages and super dream packages which go as high as 70L in some of the years. There are a lot of companies which come to vit from all over the world for placements.

CSE is the most sort out branch here. Faculty: The student ratio is 1:80. Almost all faculties have done PhD - but most of them are average. Some faculties are the best in their branch and some are blacklisted. Faculties are chosen here by the FFCS system. So you can avoid selecting blacklisted faculties here. There are 3 exams conducted CAT 1, CAT 2, and FAT each semester - with quizzes in each subject. So it is pretty much hectic. Also, we have to submit many assignments for each subject.

From the 3rd sem, you can get to sit in internships. 750 companies visit VIT. 97 percent placement record is there 80 LPA highest package of 2022 Avg package is around 8.5 LPA My plans are to get placed in a core software development company.

From the 6th or 7th semester, they become eligible for campus placement. Companies like Accenture, Organising, Microsoft and Google and so on. Are there great offers? The highest packages, 80,00,000 and average packages is 8,00,000. There is 100% placement. And after getting a degree, I would go for a good placement or master's.

The campus is fair you get an average package of 7.5 lacs in this college, students from 4th year starting are eligible for campus placements, Amazon Wipro Microsoft Adobe, Uber ola byjus Cisco TCS Infosys and many many companies come from top packages to mass recruiters , more than 93 - 95 % students get placement for sure. My plan is to join the defence services of India or get into PSUs or go for higher studies

The placement record is super good and even better than most of the government colleges. Core placement is also very good including some government companies. Or be it technical companies giving super dream packages. And also mass recruiters to ensure wide-scale placement.
