VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Vit is a well-reputed college you don't have to worry about placement. From what I have heard the average package is 10 to 12 lakh and can go upto 24-30 depending on your gcpa and how much you have studied. Almost all students get their placement from campus if they don't pursue MSC or other courses.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements in the vit. More than 500 companies visited vit last year and have a highest of 1crore per annum and have an average of 8 lakh oer annum. Vit has 100% placements for the students who have applied to sit in placements. My plan was to get a nice job with an attractive salary and settle in India.

Placements are quite generous. With super dream package, this year going up to 26LPA. Almost 100% placement rate. And the average package is around 5LPA. Placements won't be an issue if you keep up with interviews.

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. Some of the famous companies visiting are Amazon, Flipkart, Google, Apple, Microsoft etc. Highest package last year was 75LPA offered by Dyte.

Almost 100 percent campus placement is guaranteed with an average of 6.5 lakh for CSE core students. The highest package offered this year was 75 lakh. There were more than 1k companies recruiting, companies like Amazon, Dell, and Microsoft also recruited some of the college students.

From the 3rd semester, we are eligible for campus placements. More than 550 companies visit vit every year to recruit students. Companies like Google, Amazon, Infosys, etc visit vit to recruit students to work for them.

The curriculum is pretty good and we as students must give our best efforts as teachers alone cant help us understand everything. Faculty members are good, but some may not be very good at teaching but they too are reputed teachers who have good teaching experience and have published some research papers, so we can definitely learn a lot from them too! In VIT, each semester there are three main exams called CAT1, CAT2, and FAT exam. i.e these are the theory examinations apart from Lab exams. Overall CGPA is calculated by considering these marks and both relative and absolute grading is present. Semester Exams arent difficult to crack provided we follow the teacher and also do some higher-order questions.

Vit is an ever-growing institute and more than 500+ companies visit the campus. Placements are good and a lot of companies including top MNCs visit for the drive. The students are eligible in the 3rd and 4th years sometimes companies offer pre-placement offers.
