VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements in VIT is really awesome. From SEM 7 onwards students are eligible to sit for placements. Many companies visit VIT approximately 750+ companies visit VIT and the number increasing year to year. Companies like Microsoft, DE Shaw, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Paypal, Cisco, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte and many more core and IT companies visit VIT. The highest package recorded for 2022 batch placements is 75LPA and the Average package is 8.2LPA and the process of placements is still going. Consideration of all branches 85% and more students get placed with multiple offers.

I choose a course in Data Science as there is an increasing demand for Data Scientists in the coming years. Faculty: Students Ratio is quite good as 1:65 Faculties have good qualifications with everyone having a Ph.D. Degrees from renowned college but teaching method is quite good as they try to make you understand well. Terms exam happens every 2 months and it's easy to pass it.

There is a course for Soft skills which is compulsory for all students since the first semester. This course is to improve aptitude skills, how to prepare for an interview, how to develop various skills for a career. For placements, many famous companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Paypal, etc... visit the campus. More than 85% of students are being placed in different companies. Students get various offers like Super Dream offer and Dream offer for different salary packages. The highest package received in 2021 was 71 LPA from Microsoft and the lowest package is around 3 to 4 LPA. I have planned to look for a job after completing my B.tech degree.

In general, students get placed like in 3rd year but here it doesn't go this way. It's usually during the 4th year. Many companies visit here but I am not sure about it for placement in biotechnology. But it's not a really high-paying job like 6 lakh P.A. Like most of the students, I also plan on going abroad for higher studies as biotechnology isn't much at bachelor's level.

Vit has very good campus placement. Almost all great companies visit in the first two months. Latest there are recruiters. Vit has cgpa criteria for the interview which is ideally around 8,8.5 and as far as I know, you can't reject a super dream offer (10lakh+). Also, an Internship is compulsory for every third year student.

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester and many companies including Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc visit the college More than 90% of the students get placed while others opt for higher education etc I aim to join a super dream company after getting the degree

There are more than 750 companies that visit our campus last year with a dream and super dream offers. Although there is high competition, students manage to score dream and super dream offers. Our overall average placement is around 8-10 lacs.

The placements here are pretty good, almost every student gets placed. Companies like Amazon, TCS, HCL, Accenture, Deloitte, and many more come for interviews and placements. The highest package is 75 lakhs and the average is 7 to 8 lakhs.

I was interested in choosing this course because it has to be done by using creative mind and hard work and the faculties the college of very experienced and they have well knowledge about the subject that each very well and there PhD holders the exam should be conducted very strict and questions will be twisted

After 4 th sememster students can apply for the interns whereas the college provides the screenings from the 3 rd year itself and many companies like Capgemini yupp tv and tech Mahindra and wipro and many other recruiters take cse students and every year almost 80% of the students gets placed and the highest pacakage depends upon the student cracking interviews.
