VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are very good in Vit, if you can maintain your cgpa well you will be easily placed. In the fourth year, companies start visiting colleges and start working on their recruitment process. Big companies like Intel, Qualcomm, Nokia, Paypal, Google, Microsoft, Tata, Infosys, etc visit college campuses to hire students. The highest package in vit was 75 LPA and average was around 7-8 Lpa and the lowest was 5Lpa,

Learning about machines and learning about automobiles and their working of engines so I choose this course very good and they have quite good research papers that they published and they are very good knowledge of the subject they are teaching the qualification of faculties from top NIT and IIT and they have an experience of more than 12 years in their field and about the exams the there are 2 semesters and in one semester there are three exams the name of exams are cat 1 CAT to and fat that happens after every one month of the semester.

CSE degree in VIT is considered at par with all the other government colleges. Teachers are also good at teaching and will never disappoint you. Although many teachers are old (close to retirement age) and there are less number of young teachers. All teachers have Ph.D. degrees. The college conducts 2 unit dest of 15 marks each and a final test of 30 marks. Rest 40 marks depend on the teacher, some take 4 quizzes and some take 4 assignment submissions and some take combined of these. If paid attention in class you will score good marks easily.

Around 700 companies visit the campus. If you're an ECE student you are eligible from almost 200 companies. For ECE: Avg package - 6-8LPA; Highest package - 30LPA; Lowest package- 3LPA. The whole final year is full of placement opportunities and you will surely get placed if you obey the rules. Almost 100 percent placement is the proud claim of VIT

There is a placement cell which brings lots of firms for placement mostly IT firms. Students are eligible for if they no arrears. Placement starts at your 7th semester. Highest package offered was 40 lakhs and lowest package was 3 lakhs.

From the the third year students can get internships and fourth year onwards they can sit for the final year placements. Around 118 companies visted the campus last year Highest package was 74 lakhs and 84% of students are placed My plan is to gice the CAT exam and pursue MBA.

College placements are quite good in VIT, Mostly the companies start coming from the 6th semester and the placement drive lasts till 8th semester, some of the top recruiters of 2021 were Microsoft, Infosys, HP, Dyte, PayPal, DE shaw, Amazon, This year the Highest package is 75LPA, and the average CTC was around 7LPA, a Total number of companies visited for placement in 2021 was 842 number of dream offers were 2200 and number of super dream offers were 1311. Students usually prefer having a GPA of around 8.5 or more because the number of students is more in VIT so we have a great competition among ourselves only, students also start looking for off-campus during the 7th-semester opportunities as they don't want to lose any opportunity. My plans as of now are to grab the best core developer job available to me during the placement drive and work for that particular organization for 2,3 years and gain some corporate experience and then I'll be moving abroad for MBA.

Vit is very focused on academics and always keeps you busy the whole semester. So be ready for some hard work. Since the intake is more than other colleges , the competition is also fierce. The exams are moderate if you pay attention in classes.

I heard that placements are pretty in VIT. Being a CSE student, I can be sure of getting a placement. I'm not sure about the plans after college. I'm thinking, if I get a good offer, I'd work for a few years and go for Ms, else directly apply for Ms.
