VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

For placements out of 10, I will give 8. for the CS branch, I will rate 10/10. there are numerous companies which visited during my period. companies like Intel, Cisco, Microsoft, Amazon offer the highest packages. The highest package during my time was 30 lakhs provided by Amazon.

The course design is fantastic. The faculty is well qualified and most of them hold PhDs from IITs. The course is updated from time to time and ensures that latest technology is taught. The student to faculty ratio is 1:10. Class Size 240Course Fees INR 150000

7th-semester students can sit for placements. The placements are really very good. All the top companies visit the campus and the placement drive is very well maintained. The highest Package is 75 L and the Average is around 9- 10 LPA

They start to place the students from 6th semester. Interships can also be available on basis of your grade and exams conducted by the respective companies. There are many companies visited VIT like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart Infosys, Cisco etc. The average package in year 2020-21 is around 8 LPA and the highest offered is around 43 LPA. Fortunately, VIT has scored 100% placements in past few years. I plan to do a job or go to abroad for upper studies after getting the degree.

From 3rd semester, we get the placements. Cognizant, Microsoft, Google, hp, and many more visited every year and 20000 and above offers made this year. The highest package of 45 lacs by Microsoft was offered last year and an average package of 7-8 lacs was offered from many companies. Approx. 70% of students will get the placements. nothing just I will do work on my dream job.

In the 7th semester, students can apply for placements and the eligibility criteria for sitting in the placements. There is a credit system in Vit. You should have a minimum number of credits in order to sit for the placements. According to 2021, 5876 students applied for placements, 85.62% students got placed and the highest package was 44Lacs. A total of 842 companies visited the campus and the average package was 7.38L. My plan is to get get a job in a well-reputed company till now but I don't know about the future. We'll see.

From 7th semester. Only circuital branches will get tons of opportunities as companies want them in more numbers. Though VIT helps for Non- circuital branches too, only toppers get through them not all average students get through them. VIT and the outside world will give you tons of placement opportunities for CS, ECE, IT guys not for mech/civil/production/bio-tech or any non-circuital.

Students become eligible from the 7th semester for placement. almost 500 companies visited. The highest package was 50lakh and the average package is 5 lakh. % of placement depends on a branch for computer science it is almost 95%.

7th semester is the time when the placement drive starts. The list of the two companies is there on the official website. More than 500 companies came for placement in the year 2020 despite the pandemic the placement drive of the college was quite successful.

The college provides 100% placements. Companies like Merill Lynch, Nissan, Bank Of America, Mondelez, Payoda are the main attraction point of the placement as these are the companies that hire most of the students with great packages. Around 70 companies visited our campus during the placement drive. The highest package for our batch was 15.95 LPA and the lowest was 7.65 LPA.
