Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM) is an autonomous university established in 2013 by the Government of Gujarat.

IITRAM received an award for being the Top Institute of India by CSR in 2019.

The Institute offers admission to courses offered by the institute including B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in various specializations.

Admission to B.Tech will be based on the marks secured in the JEE Main or GUJCET ranks and Higher Secondary Examination qualified students can apply for admission.

Counseling for admission will be conducted by JoSAA (national level) and ACPC, Gujarat (state level), respectively.

Further, the Institute offers admission to the M.Tech and Ph.D. programme. For admissions to M.Tech candidates shall be admitted on the basis of GATE scores and/or entrance exam conducted by IITRAM.

Minimum of 55% marks in B.E. /B.Tech. or equivalent in a relevant specialization (50% marks for reserved category candidates).

Admissions to Ph.D are offered on the basis of performance in written test followed by an interview.

IITRAM Ahmedabad Admission Highlights 2021

The institute invites application forms for admission to the B.Tech programme under 3 specializations. 10+2 qualified students in the science stream can apply for admission to the course.

Admissions will be strictly based on JEE Main/GUJCET scores/ranks followed by allotment of 50% seats through national counseling conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The remaining 50% seats shall be allotted through off-campus online counseling conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat.

Specializations:

IITRAM Ahmedabad Eligibility Criteria:

• Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) qualified.
• Minimum 75% mark secured in the qualifying examination.
• Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/SEBC) are given 5% relaxation in the minimum academic eligibility criteria.
• Students appearing for the final examination can apply.

IITRAM Ahmedabad Selection Criteria:

• Admission to the course will be based either on the performance in JEE Mains or GUJCET.
• Qualified students will be further called for counseling.
• JoSAA/ACPC counseling is conducted in an online mode and candidates who have qualified as per merit ranks must register on the official websites to participate in seat allotment admission process.

How to Apply for B.Tech in IITRAM Ahmedabad?

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech course must strictly follow the instructions to register for national/state level counseling conducted by JoSAA and ACPC respectively.

Counselling Process:

• All JEE/GUJCET qualified candidates eligible for central counseling should register at the official website of JoSAA or GUJCET.
• JEE qualified candidates are not required to pay any registration fee for counseling.
• However, GUJCET candidates must register themselves for counseling by purchasing the Information Booklet and PIN from any designated branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank by remitting a fee of INR 350.
• Candidates shall be allotted seats in the college based on choice in the order of merit over multiple rounds of counseling.
• Candidates are required to deposit ‘Seat Acceptance Fee’ and report in the institute as per schedule.

Admissions to the IITRAM Post-Graduate course leading to M.Tech are offered in three specializations. 

Graduation degree holders can apply for admission to the course. Candidates shall be shortlisted as per valid GATE scores or marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the institute and counseling.

Specializations:

IITRAM Ahmedabad M.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduation degree holders can apply for admission.
• Minimum 55% marks should be secured in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates appearing for admission to the course can apply for admission.

IITRAM Ahmedabad M.Tech Selection Criteria:

• Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in the entrance examination conducted by the institute.
• GATE qualified candidates will be exempted from the entrance examination.
• Qualified candidates will be called for counseling.
• The institute will conduct different counseling rounds for GATE qualified and Non-GATE candidates. 

The institute also offers a degree in Ph.D. at the research level. The eligibility criteria for admission to Ph.D. is to have a Master’s Degree in the concerned or equivalent degree with 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with First class or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST).

Admissions are done on the basis of performance in written test followed by an interview conducted by the institute itself. The candidates shortlisted for the interview are required to submit a Research Proposal at the time of Interview. For candidates holding minimum eligibility qualifications following additional credentials are desirable:

• Valid GATE/CEED score.
• JRF of CSIR/UGC/NBHM/DBT or DST INSPIRE Fellowship or UGC-NET Lectureship (LS).
• Minimum 2-year of professional experience, acquired after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree.
