Step-by-Step GPAT 2027 Application Process on gpat.nta.ac.in

The application has four steps. Complete all four before the deadline. A partially submitted form — one without fee payment — is not considered valid by NTA.

Step 1: New Registration

  1. Go to the official portal: gpat.nta.ac.in.
  2. Click New Candidate Registration on the homepage.
  3. Enter your name (as on Class 10 certificate), date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
  4. Set a password and note your Application Number carefully — you need it for all future logins.
  5. Verify your mobile number and email using the OTPs sent by NTA to complete registration.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

  1. Log in using your Application Number and password.
  2. Fill in personal details: father’s name, mother’s name, gender, category, and correspondence address.
  3. Fill in academic details: name of your B.Pharm institution, year of passing or current year of study, and aggregate percentage.
  4. Select your preferred exam cities — usually two choices are allowed.
  5. Review every field before saving. Mistakes in name, date of birth, or category are very difficult to correct after submission.

Step 3: Upload Photograph and Signature

  1. Upload a recent passport-size photograph — JPG/JPEG format, 10 KB to 200 KB, white or light background.
  2. Upload your signature on plain white paper in black ink — JPG/JPEG format, 4 KB to 30 KB.
  3. Both files must be clear and within the specified size range. Blurry or oversized uploads are rejected.

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

  1. Choose a payment method: debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
  2. Complete the transaction. The fee is non-refundable regardless of later cancellation.
  3. Download and save the final confirmation page and fee receipt — this is your proof of a complete application.

PwD certificate Required if claiming fee concession or PwD reservation benefits

GPAT 2027 Application Fee
