Application Correction Window

CEE Kerala opens a correction window a few weeks after the last date to apply. During this period, you can fix limited details in your submitted form.

You can correct:

  • Exam centre preference
  • Category details
  • Uploaded documents such as photo, signature and certificates

You cannot change:

  • Your name as filled in the form
  • Date of birth
  • Paper selection (in most cycles)

Check the CEE Kerala website for the exact fields open for editing during the KEAM 2027 correction window. Changes after it closes are not allowed.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Entering your name differently from what is on your Class 10 certificate. This causes problems during allotment.
  • Uploading a photo that is too large or too small in file size. The portal rejects it, often without a clear error message.
  • Forgetting to save the transaction ID after paying the fee.
  • Selecting only one paper when you need both Paper 1 and Paper 2 for an engineering rank.
  • Leaving the form incomplete and assuming you can finish it after the deadline.
  • Using a temporary or rarely-checked email address. All communications from CEE Kerala go to the email you register with.
  • Waiting until the last day to apply. Portal traffic is high near the deadline and you may face slowdowns.

After Submitting the Application

Once you submit and pay, your application is registered. Here is what happens next.

  • Admit card: CEE Kerala releases your KEAM 2027 admit card in April 2027 (tentative). Download it from your account on cee.kerala.gov.in. You must carry it to the exam hall. No admit card means no entry.
  • Exam: KEAM 2027 is expected in April 2027. You appear for Paper 1, Paper 2 or both, based on what you selected at registration.
  • Result and rank: CEE Kerala declares your KEAM rank in May 2027 (tentative). Your rank is based on your KEAM score and Class 12 marks together, as per the Kerala weightage formula.
  • Allotment: The LBS Centre for Science and Technology runs the centralised allotment process for engineering seats. You register separately for allotment, fill your college and branch choices, and get a seat based on your rank and availability.
  • Architecture: If you applied for architecture, your NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 score is used for allotment, not your KEAM score.

Keep checking cee.kerala.gov.in for all updates. The official schedule and fee for KEAM 2027 will be published there first.
