To be eligible to secure an admission in MBA course in Gujarat, the applicant must have:

Gujarat MBA Admissions Process

The online admission process is carried out by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) – Ahmedabad. To register for MBA admissions in Gujarat, candidates must follow the steps given below:

Register on the official website.
Upload all the required, self – attested documents and pay the registration fee.
ACPC will then put a list of all eligible candidates.
Candidates then need to verify their merit number and category as mentioned in registration details.

Gujarat MBA Admissions Entrance Exam

The main exam that is required for Online counseling in Gujarat is CMAT. Colleges do accept scores for other tests but CMAT is given more preference. Common Management Admission Test is an exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Following are the technical details about CMAT:

Gujarat MBA Admissions Counselling Process

CMAT 2020 results were announced on Feb 4, 2020. Each year the results are announced in the 1st week of February. A student can score in the range of -100 to 400. Some important pointers for Counselling Process are:

According to the score, an All India Rank (AIR) is earned by a student. This also determines the percentile they fall in. Based on these, the students are given admissions.
The initial round of choice filling will be a Mock round. Based on the analysis given candidates should modify their choices or add more choices if they are not able to secure admission in this round. This is the choice filling for the first round.
ACPC will then, allot seats to the applicants on basis of merit and choices given by the candidates.
To confirm admission, candidates need to pay a token fee through an online payment.
A similar process will follow for the second round.

MBA admissions around the country differ for different students depending on variables like caste, tribe, physical disability, etc. These rules are different for different states. Ans. ACPC is a body of the Directorate of Technical Education. It is responsible for UG and PG programs in engineering, architecture, pharmacy, management, and so on.
