Physical Properties of Borax 

The physical Properties of Borax are as follows- 

  • Its molar masses are 202.22 for the anhydrous form and 381.38 for the decahydrate.
  • It is a solid, white material. Its densities are 1.73 g/cm3 for decahydrate and 2.4 g/cm3 for anhydrous form.
  • The decahydrate's melting point is 75 °C while the anhydrous form is 743 °C.
  • It is water soluble.Its anhydrous boiling point is 1,575 °C.
