Chapter 1: Sets

Set refers to a collection of objects like geometrical shapes, points in space, alphabetical letters, numbers, symbols, etc.

Relations and functions are useful to solve equations with elements having a 'cause & effect' dependent relation. In algebra, relation & function are connected to the set of any ordered pairs.
