    CIEAT(Crescent Institute of Engineering Admission Test) Exam 2020 previously known as BSAUEEE 2020 will be conducted from July 11, 2020 to July 15, 2020.     CIEAT 2020 Eligibility

    The admission to B.S. Abdur Rehman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology depends on the test score of CIEAT 2020 and on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

    Candidates with valid JEE Main Scores are exempted from the CIEAT 2020 exam. The eligibility requirement for the CIEAT are as follows:

    • Official Transcripts of 12th standard qualifying examination by the State Board/ CBSE/ ISC or equivalent examination.

    • A candidate should score 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

    • Only candidates who have completed their high school education in regular, full-time, and formal education are eligible to apply.

    • The CIEAT Exam has an age limit: a student should be born on or after July 1, 1998.

    CIEAT 2020 Exam Dates

    The CIEAT is conducted at two different dates. The exam at the campus in Chennai is conducted on a different date and across different centers in India is conducted on a different date. The important dates of the exam are given below:

    What to carry in the CIEAT 2020 Exam Center?

    A student can only carry the following things inside the examination center:

    • CIEAT 2020 Admit Card

    • A Valid ID proof like PAN Card, Drivers Licence, Aadhar Card, etc.

    CIEAT 2020 Application Form

    The CIEAT 2020 application form was eased in December 2019. The last date of the form is yet to be eased, so candidates are advised to apply immediately. The application form is available online on the official website of the institute.

    The candidates have to fill in their personal details, course preference, center preference, qualification details, etc. After filling the application, the candidates need to pay a fee.

    CIEAT 2020 Admit Card

    The candidates can download their Admit Card in the first week of April. The admit card consists of the candidates:

    • Registration Number

    • Candidates Name

    • Date of Birth

    • Passport Size photo

    • Signature

    • Roll Number

    • Name and Address of the exam center

    The candidate can access their admit card by entering their registration number with their date of birth as a password. 

    If any discrepancy regarding the information on the admit card, the candidate is advised to get in contact with the institute.

    The CIEAT 2020 is going to be held on April 16-20, 2020 in the institute campus in Chennai and April 18, 2020, at different campuses across India. To qualify the CIEAT 2020 a student needs to be aware of the exam pattern, which is as follows:

    The paper is divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology for Biotechnology program. The mathematics section is the most scoring section.

    CIEAT 2020 Syllabus

    The syllabus for the CIEAT 2020 is set by the institute itself and is subject to change every year. The candidates need to cover the subjects according to the course they wish to opt for.

    The syllabus for the CIEAT 2020 is as follows:

    • Physics: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Effects of Electric Current, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Electromagnetic Waves and Wave Optics, Atomic Physics, Dual Nature of Radiation and matter-activity, Nuclear Physics, Semiconductor Devices, and their Applications, Communication Systems.

    • Mathematics: Application of Matrices and Determinants, vector Algebra, Complex Numbers, Analytical Geometry, Differential Calculus, and its Applications, Integral Calculus & its Applications, Differential Equations, Discrete Mathematics, Groups, and Probability Distribution.

    • Chemistry: Inorganic Chemistry - (Atomic Structure, Periodic Classification, p-block elements, d-block elements, f-block elements, Co-ordination compounds and Bio-co-ordination compounds, Nuclear Chemistry) Physical Chemistry – (Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Solid State, Chemical Equilibrium, Thermodynamics, Chemical Kinetics) Organic Chemistry – (Isomerism in Organic Chemistry, Hydroxy derivatives, Ethers, Carbonyl Compounds, Carboxylic Acids, Organic Nitrogen Compounds, Biomolecules, Chemistry in Action).

    • Biology: Taxonomy on Angiosperms, Plant Anatomy, Cell Biology and Genetics, Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Biology in Human Welfare, Human Physiology, Microbiology, Immunology, Modern Genetics, Environmental science, Applied Biology.

    CIEAT 2020 Result

    The result for CIEAT 2020 is expected to be declared in June 2020. The result of CIEAT 2020 will form one of the bases on which candidates will be granted admission.

    Candidate can follow the following steps to view result for CIEAT 2020: -

    • Visit the official website of B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institue of Science and Technology, i.e.

    • On the left side of the home page, the candidate will be able to see a link of CIEAT 2020 results.

    • After clicking on this link, the candidate will be redirected to the results page.

    • The candidate now need to enter their registration number along with Date of Birth.

    • Then, click on the Submit button.

    • CIEAT 2020 Result will be displayed on your screen.

    • Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the result with them for future reference.

    CIEAT 2020 Counselling

    After CIEAT 2020 result declaration, Candidates who have scored good marks in the test are invited for counselling for various courses.

    It is to be noted that Class 12 marks also play an important role in the selection of candidate for various programs.

    Admissions in B.Tech are also provided on basis of JEE Main score. Separate rounds of counseling will be held on the basis of both the tests.

    Following documents need to be carried while counseling process under CIEAT 2020: -

    • Result card of CIEAT 2020

    • Admit card of CIEAT 2020

    • Detailed Marks Certificate of Class 12

    • Migration/Transfer certificate from the previous board

    • Relevant certificates such as residence proof, caste or category certificate, income proof, etc.

    • Passport sized pictures of the candidate.

    • Since counseling is an important part of admission, candidates are advised to carry these documents with care so as to avoid any hustle during the counseling process.
