What is UPES DAT Application Form 2027?

How to Fill UPES DAT Application Form 2027

The UPES DAT 2027 application form will be available entirely online at admission.upes.ac.in. The process is divided into two phases: new account registration followed by full form completion. Follow the steps below when the 2027 window opens.

Phase 1: New Registration

1. Visit admission.upes.ac.in and click "New Registration" or the UPES DAT 2027 link listed under Admissions.
2. Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID — use details that match your Class 10 certificate exactly.
3. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent via SMS.
4. Set a strong password and note your Application Number — you will need it for every future login.
5. Save your login credentials securely; you will need them for admit card download, result, and interview scheduling.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

1. Log in at admission.upes.ac.in using your Application Number and password.
2. Fill in personal details: full name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, and permanent address.
3. Fill in academic details: Class 10 and 12 board, year of passing, roll number, and percentage of marks secured.
4. Select your preferred programme (B.Des or M.Des) and applicable specialisation.
5. Upload your passport-size photograph and signature in the required format and within the specified file-size limit.

UPES DAT Application Fee 2027

The UPES DAT 2027 application fee is ₹1,750, uniform across all categories. UPES does not offer a fee reduction based on category, gender, or domicile for the DAT.

Payment is accepted via: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking. No offline payment mode (cheque, demand draft, or cash) is accepted.

Note: If your payment fails, do not pay again immediately — wait 48–72 hours for the amount to be auto-refunded to your account before retrying. Contact UPES at enrollments@upes.ac.in if the refund does not appear after 72 hours.

Note: The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances — even if your form is rejected, you withdraw your application, or you do not appear for the exam.

UPES DAT Application Form Correction 2027

UPES may provide a limited correction window for the DAT 2027 application form after the registration period closes. This window is not guaranteed for every cycle — verify all details carefully before submitting your form to avoid relying on corrections.

What Can Be Corrected

• Minor spelling corrections in name (must ultimately match the Class 10 certificate)

What Cannot Be Corrected

• Programme chosen (B.Des or M.Des) once the form is submitted
• Application Number (system-generated and permanent)
• Application fee — once paid, it is non-refundable and cannot be revised

How to Make Corrections

1. Log in at admission.upes.ac.in using your Application Number and password.
2. Click "Application Form Correction" or the edit icon in your applicant dashboard.
3. Make the required changes — only the permitted fields will be editable during the window.
4. Submit the corrected form and download the updated confirmation page immediately.
