STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
TANCET MBA is a state-level entrance examination conducted by Anna University, Chennai for admission to post-graduate management programs. TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) is scheduled in March 2018. The exam will be held in offline mode at 15 major cities of Tamil Nadu.
TANCET MBA Application Form 2018 is expected to release in February. The application fee is INR 500 for general category (INR 250 for reserved category). The minimum eligibility to apply for TANCET MBA is possession of a Bachelor’s degree.
Anna University will declare the result for TANCET MBA in April. TANCET 2018 Cut off for MBA is expected to be 37.5 for Open Category.

Candidates should check their eligibility status before filling the application form. TANCET MBA Eligibility Criteria is as follows:
TANCET MBA 2018 Application Form will available on the official website from February onwards. Eligible candidates can fill the online application form from its official website in the defined time frame. The form should be carefully submitted as corrections cannot be made once the form is finally submitted.
The form is to be filled through online mode only by following the steps provided below:

Note: There is no need to send a copy of the application form via post to Anna University.
TANCET application fee is non-refundable and it has to be paid in online mode only at the time of registration. Application fee varies according to the category of the candidate. The following table depicts TANCET application fee:

TANCET MBA hall ticket will be available for download at annauniv.edu from March 14 onwards. Also, it can be obtained in person from the respective coordinating centers. Admit card will not be sent via post. It is mandatory to carry an Identity Card along with TANCET Admit Card on the exam day. It should be kept safe after the exam for admission process.
Information Contained in Admit Card 2018:
In case, a candidate misplaces the admit card after the exam, then they can obtain a duplicate one against the payment of INR 100/-. The fee should be paid through Demand Draft with a request indicating the application number and name of examination centre to the Secretary, Anna University, Chennai -600025. The Demand Draft can be drawn from any nationalised bank.

Anna University has decided to conduct the TANCET MBA entrance exam in 15 major cities. The allotted exam center will be mentioned on the TANCET MBA Hall Ticket. Given below is the list of TANCET exam centers:

TANCET MBA Result is expected to be out in April 2018 on the official website. The mark sheet and result are not be sent individually to the candidates via post or email. Merit Lists will be prepared separately for different categories.

Candidates can get a duplicate copy of TANCET MBA mark sheet if they lose their original mark sheet. They can obtain the duplicate mark sheet by sending a written application to Anna University along with a Demand Draft of INR 100/-. The Demand Draft can be obtained from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favor of “The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai”, payable at Chennai.
Note: Candidates should mention the Registration No., Application No. and the name of the Exam Centre on this letter.
TANCET cutoff is decided by each of the participating institutes. TANCET MBA cutoff is the minimum score declared by the institute for the admission process. On the basis of cutoff marks, TANCET MBA Counselling and Seat Allotment are done.
TANCET Cut off is calculated by considering factors such as difficulty level of the exam, availability of seats, average marks scored in the test and total number of candidates taking the test. The expected TANCET 2018 Cutoff for MBA is 37.5 for Open Category.

TANCET MBA Counselling 2018 is expected to commence from July 2018. Candidates will be called for the counselling process on the basis of their ranks secured in the exam. The process is held in both online and offline modes. After TANCET Counselling, shortlisted candidates are allotted seats in one of the participating institutes in the state of Tamil Nadu.
TANCET MBA Counselling 2018 schedule will be declared by Anna University according to the ranks of the qualified candidates. After each round of counselling, applicants can check the seat vacancy status of participating colleges. Depending on the number of vacant seats, the university will decide the number of counselling rounds.
