JIPMER PG 2017 Exam Pattern

JIPMER exam comprises two sections i.e. Basic Clinical and Clinical Sciences. It consists of 250 objective type questions. Total of 100 questions in the basic clinical section and 150 questions in the clinical science section are asked in the exam. Candidates have to solve the paper in three hours. Each question carries four marks and there is negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer. The paper will be held in online mode only. The language mode of the paper will be English only.

JIPMER PG is held every year for candidates seeking admission to MD and MS programmes. Candidates can apply online before April 20, 2017. JIPMER PG 2017 is to be scheduled on May 15, 2017. Candidates having MBBS degree with one year internship are eligible to apply for this exam. In order to eligible for PG course at JIPMER, it is necessary for a candidate to obtain atleast 50 percentile in the entrance examination. Reserved category will be relaxed by 10 percentiles in qualifying marks. JIPMER PG 2017 is conducted for 102 seats available in MD and MS programmes at JIPMER.
