Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has issued a press release on celebrating the 35th Foundation Day virtually on November 19, 2020.

The 35th Foundation day celebration at Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU will start at 11:30 a.m according to the press release.

Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, Shri V Muraleedharan will be the chief guest of the event and deliver the foundation day address.

IGNOU's School of Education celebrated the National Education Day on November 11, 2020, on the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad who is the first education minister of India.

The National Education Day was celebrated at IGNOU by organizing a lecture on “Significance of National Education Day in the light of the National Education Policy, 2020”.
