NIMCET 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Out; Check Online Reporting Window

The NIMCET 2026 Central Counselling Committee has declared the Round 2 seat allotment result. Candidates can check the outcome on the official portal at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. The National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) is the qualifying test for MCA admission into participating NITs and IIITs.

Allotted candidates must now complete online reporting between July 13 and July 15, 2026. Reporting includes seat acceptance fee payment and document upload on the candidate login portal. Missing the deadline will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

NIMCET 2026 scores are accepted by 11 NITs and 2 IIITs for MCA admission. The participating institutes are listed below.

• NIT Agartala, NIT Allahabad, NIT Bhopal, NIT Delhi
• NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Meghalaya
• NIT Patna, NIT Raipur, NIT Tiruchirappalli, NIT Warangal
• IIIT Bhopal and IIIT Vadodara

Together these institutes offer close to 1,300 MCA seats through the NIMCET counselling process.

How to Check the NIMCET 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result?

Candidates can view the allotted seat by following the steps given below.

• Visit the official portal at nimcet.admissions.nic.in.
• Click on the candidate login link for NIMCET 2026 counselling.
• Enter the application number and password to sign in.
• Open the Round 2 seat allotment tab on the dashboard.
• Download the allotment letter and save a printed copy.

How to Complete Online Reporting for Round 2?

Online reporting must be completed within the July 13 to July 15 window. The process is fully digital and no physical reporting is required at this stage.

• Log in to the NIMCET counselling portal using registered credentials.
• Pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 10,000 through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
• Upload the required documents in the format specified on the portal.
• Wait for verification by the assigned reporting officer.
• Download the provisional admission letter once the seat is confirmed.

• NIMCET 2026 admit card and scorecard
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Qualifying degree mark sheets and provisional certificate
• Category certificate, if applicable (SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS)
• PwD certificate, if applicable
• Valid photo identity proof issued by the government
• Passport size photograph and signature scan

What Happens if a Candidate Skips Online Reporting?

Failure to complete online reporting within the deadline will lead to automatic cancellation of the allotted seat. The candidate will lose the current allotment and cannot claim the same seat later. Such candidates may still remain eligible for subsequent rounds if declared by the committee.
