Ayan Ronald's Review On Asutosh College, Kolkata

Good highlight would be like all i have been saying throughout .Bad highlight would be the only thing i hate about the college ,as we know Bengal has a big role to play in youth politics and this is were the negative impact comes among all the government

I simply gave my higher secondary and then enrolled myself online at various CU colleges for admission. The course i applied for was English Hons but unfortunately when the results came out i was too far in the list of English Hons apparently among all the colleges i had applied one was Asutosh College it was well named college in Kolkata and the best in science as per CU ranking. Apart from English Hons i had also applied for Communicative English only at this particular college keeping it as a back up and hopefully it worked i had my name on the 1st list.

Its a very new course as of now not all colleges are aware of this course at this point. Communicative English is the study of communication its got a very bright future in the future years surely. The course structure is really tough and challenging at every level.

As of now i ve just given ma 1st year exams have been only a month completing my 1st year of college.Therefor internship are only provided to students at the level of 3rd year.

As i had mentioned earlier its a very new course not all people are aware of it. Therefor right now at this point i can say that the placements and job opportunities are limited too but its is also true as every year passes away the popularity of this course and job opportunities will grow in large with the population growing .

College Festivals are attractions to students of every college ,like every college my college too hosts a lot of fests throughout the year wide starting with the freshers party coming to lannon to lennon a cultural fest then the celebrating departmental fests as well as college sports as a well know events and many more helping students to focus on all ways .And yes i do participate mostly in the sports events .

Asutosh College is a private college even though being at the top ranks i can say that as per fees are concern it is very decent as compared to other colleges,Hostels are available to outside state students mess food is also decent so overall as rating concerns :Hostel - 7Fees - 9Mess food - 7

Scholarship are available to students both coming up from a harsh background of we can say from poor background as well as students really good with extreme good results ,its a really good opportunity for students proving themselves out in this world of competition with the advantage of scholarship.

The campus life is really exciting as the gender ratio of students are almost equal as girls being a bit more in ratio.Students of all years are really supportive there always a unity found. Extracurricular activities say like lab projects, sporting events or inter departmental competitions happens in large amount and attracting a lot of students.Its creates a good college environment.

I can say the Alumni Network is very cooperative they are always in the picture supporting the college being present at every senior college event .Works hard to make every event successful .The senior students are well addressed communicative too supporting and yes very helpful in many aspects .

The faculty results with the best teachers of India regarding this particular course are highly qualified and are definitely looking forward to brighten up this course of education.
