Remarks

Hope this college continues to be this good. Few things needed to be looked into again, like girls end time, food court closing time, unwanted rude guards. The placement rules are also bad, like if you are placed then you can't sit for any company who is offering you less than the twice of already offered company.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is similar to other colleges' engineering courses. Everyone is busy with assignments, surprise tests, internals, labs and stuffs. We have 8 semesters all together, with 2 semesters in 1 year. Each semester has number of assignments and surprise tests for each subjects, meams they keep us busy throughout.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes. The job for the IT or Computer branch is phenomenal. Even the worst guys get job offers from a company which they never deserved. Everyone gets pretty good offers. Apart from this, college provides number of internships, and the stipend is different for different companies.

College Events

3.5

Aarush is an event organised by students. This is a 4 days event which has number of sub-events for student where they can eat, learn new things, play games and many more. And Milan, which is organised by college team, is one the biggest college events in India.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is pretty feasible. If you haven't worked hard enough to get into government engineering colleges, then you will to pay this much, which is pretty fair. But apart from normal tuition fees there are a number of fees to be paid, like hostel, examination fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Government already provides loans for poor student. Apart from this, we get scholarships based on our academics. Top 20 students from each branch is given educational aid. College proved loans for students who want to go abroad and oersue their higher studies. I know about no loans or scholarships apart from this.

Campus Life

4.5

We have labs throughout the 8 semesters, which helps us getting our practical knowledge strong. There are sports facilities and events for cricket, football, basketball, and table tennis. We have gym and courts for practices. They provide equipments needed.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are very good. They provide Wi-Fi, laundry, 4 times food, proper cleaning and safety. Hostels rules are strictl in starting days. Food here is better than other colleges in South India. Wi-Fi is good. Laundry service is nice. Cleanliness is maintained. We have can't tens and shops for food and stationaries.

Alumni/Alumna

No we don't have many opportunities to interact with seniors, except you are in some clubs or teams. Seniors are cooperative and helping. They prove to be helpful everytime. Ranging is seriously prohibited in campus. Anyway, the interaction between students and seniors are minimal but whatever it is, it proves to be helpful.

Admission

After 12th,I'd Ab exam called SRMJEE. Based on the marks scored in that exam and boards score, we get our branch according to our preferences. There are 2 categories for each department, first one is for better rank holders, while the second one is for the people who still want a particular branch but don't have good enough ranks. Computer Science and Information Technology has the best placement futures here.

Faculty

3

Faculties are knowledgeable and helpful, except few. Few are cunning, or irritating. They will discriminate you based on whether you are a North Indian or South Indian, some are too helpful towards girls. But this is just for some teachers. Apart from them everyone is helpful, supporting, knowledgeable and disciplined.

About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.
