Remarks

college is great except for food.Placements are really great. And there is exactly 100 % placements for those who prepare for placement.fees structure is feasible. For merit seat itbis like 3,00,000-no schorlaship 1,50,000-50% scholarship 30,00-75%scholarship. And for managemnet seat the fees is 4,00,000and for nri it is 7k us dollars

Nice oppenion about course curriculum it is one of a kind exam is like for lab based corses there will be 30 mark lab and 20 mark theory. And for other courses it is like there is complete theory or written exam.

college celebrates gokulashtmy in a great way. we also celebrates onam and some other amrita only festivals. the main and biggest fest is the anokha hich happems in the month of february every year. Anokha is the tech fest of amrita and one of the major college tech fest in india

Extracaricular activities, labs ,sports are really exceptionaly nice. we have intra amrita and inter amrita competition happening every year. About the labs we have labs for every subject and evry departments

Alumini networks arent strong. There is almost very less ragging. And seniors are indeed very helpfull.Placements are really great. And there is exactly 100 % placements for those who prepare for placement

Admission

Wrote the entrance exam. They started online allotment. Payed 1 lack as partial fees. Took hostel and payed the fees and after the final allotment payed the total fees. Went for orientation fees and joined the college

Faculty

Facultys are realy friendly and helpful except for a few who have what is called as head weight. Some teachers are so intelligent and expert in their field and there teaching will be in that high level soo students are unable to catch them. Expect for these few facultys all others are expecpitionly great

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
