Remarks

I think there is a good academic environment in my college, the overall behaviour of staffs and facilities is good, but in some manner I have negative remark in my mind. Some of the societies are not working although they have a working profile in college documents. I think that's enough for the students who are interested to take admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are almost every stream of arts and science department here and every streams have their own popularity. Since I am in Mathematics Honours, I am really satisfied with curriculum. Examination process is really easy, you only have to fill your examination before the said date with your current subjects codes and the names of subjects which you are studying in the respective semesters. The main examination is semester wise but in the mean time you have to appear for the internals, you also have to pass the internal examination which will be conducted by the respective subject teachers.

Placement Experience

4

One thing is sure about the Delhi University colleges that they have the best placements and job opportunities. The same thing is here in this college also, they are providing plenty of good placements and job opportunities. Yes my college also provide internships, I think they are the best, we have got chance to appear in various companies' interview like Career360 TravClan, Lido Learning, Google, Policy Bazar etc. The stipend for some of the companies are as per their job profile by the way there are stipend of 15k to 35k of some companies.

College Events

4

Delhi University is always known for their festival and event celebrations, and this is for every college. These are of two types 1st one is stream wise cultural programmes and 2nd one is college level event. These are known as cultural festivals. All stream have their own cultural, technical, and management festivals like mathematics department has "Arity", Hindi department has 'kavyanjali" and there are many more. The college fests are big, and every students have chance to participate in them, some of the students actually participate in them to make themselves famous. Some bands, and Artists are called during the fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since the University is run by the delhi government, so the fee structure is actually feasible. As for the mathematics department I have to pay around 11k each year, and I think this is not expensive with respect to other colleges. The examination fees are also included the yearly fee structure. I think the maximum cap of the yearly fee structure is 15k per anum. You don't have to pay any extra money for the fest or for any extra curricular activities. All the other expenses are covered by the college authority.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is several scolarship facility in this college but I have availed only few of them, the first one is that, there is scolarship program based on the academic performance, the top 5 students of each stream are given around 7k to 10k scolarship amount. The college topper are also given scolarship amount but I have never availed that one so I have no information about the scolarship amount. The second one is for best performance in sport ( cricket game ), I am given ?5k money for one time.

Campus Life

3.5

There is everything in this college but the staffs are of no good. But the sport department is great, they have kit for several games like cricket, football, handball, volleyball, kabaddi racket ball, table tennis, badminton. In the sport department the behaviour of the staffs are good. There is NCC program here. There are lots of society you can join and can be a part of it. There is no any limitations on how many societies you wanna join. Every week there happen debate competition not only in English language but in almost 4 languages ( English, Hindi, Sanskrit, One foreign language). There are every type of societies like cultural society, political society, workshop, sexual orientation program, gender equality program and many more.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Since there is no any option to opt for a hostel in this college because there isn't any hostel or any college accomodation here, so I reckon I can't comment on this one. For Delhi University colleges, there are only few colleges which have hostel facilities and they are generally in North and South campus colleges. Rajdhani college is a off campus college.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't know if there is any anual alumni program or not but we all are in contact with some the the senior students. They are really helpful throughout the year, they give us suggestions regarding the examination pattern and how to grab a job, how to prepare for a job interview, how to deal with some of the difficult situations in sports, academia and etc. They are really helpful. I reckon there is a chain of alumni students which suggest us to deal with the situations how and when. I personally have around 10 alumini contcts which I talk on daily basis.

Admission

As I already clarified that the University of Delhi always go for merit based on your 12 board marks. The same way I got admission in this college in 2017. The selection criteria was simple. The first thing you have to do is to register on Delhi University website with your authentic credentials with a minimal registration fee and that's it. Now the University of Delhi releases merit lists of every colleges on their website, you work is to regularly follow the instructions and check the web for the updates. And if your marks meet any merit lists of the colleges, you have to appear there in person with your before the said date and time with your original documents. There will be almost 6 to 7 merits to take admission in the colleges.

Faculty

3.5

Almost every faculty members are experienced here. They are good in verbal skills but there is something I want to share here, not every faculty members are good in academia. Some of the teachers are really worst( sorry the word), but they really are. But some of the teachers are the most talented and skilled, I think they are great especially in the mathematics department. Overall there is a good performance of the teachers. If I have to rate the faculty members in the scale of 1 to 10, I'll give 7 star.

The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
