Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Over here all they teach you is to how to become a slave to your master. 85% attendance is compulsory which basically is a scam teacher copy presentation available on LinkedIn and other educational sites. You'll basically become a slave over here running after teachers completing assignment struggling for attendance. There are no extra curricular activities there is no ground in the campus it's just a big ugly building that will suck the joy out of your life as soon as you enter it.

Placement Experience

2.5

Most of the students get a package about 4LPA , but to sit for the campus placement you must have a CGPA above a certain number.

College Events

0.5

There is nothing interesting in Christ. Fests are boring in which they force you to sit and watch throughout the day or they will cut you're attendance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

They fees in hrist is pretty feasible compared to some other top private colleges in the country. For B. A courses the fee structure is very affordable even for a child coming from a low income background.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The Hostel facilities is available for 40k. The Hostel room are big and clean. Yet there are many restrictions in the hostel which for me made it an unbearable place to live. don't take the Hostel if can afford to live in a PG.

Admission

First you have register for Christ Entrance test and send details of your marksheet to them via mail then after you clear your entrance test you further have to write an essay on que which will test your logical and reasoning skills after the teat on the same day they conduct a Personal Interview where they ask you basic quey about the course and about yourself.

Faculty

4

Professors are well educated but lack empathy. The cluster head of the economic department in Christ BGR( Bannerghatta) is one of the very few professors who actually cares about the students under him. He is very well educated has M. phil and PHD in economics. Most of the faculty over here has a PHD and well versed in the subject they teach but lack empathy as I said. Most teachers threaten students by deducting their attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We get to learn many things not because of just the syllabus and courses but also because of the national and international conferences that are held in our college. People from other colleges come in and share their knowledge with us. This experience is really good for us students. We even have expert lectures from our alumnis who give us advice on what all is required in the world outside college to earn. All these are really helpful.
