Good college

The college is like most others in India. It has very large campus and quite a good reputation. Sometimes because of the diversity of students, the environment is not good because of students from different regions and walks of Life

The course is very well structured and has improved considerably since last year but sometimes the labs can make you very busy but we have a 3 sets of theory exams a semester, one every month and that is quite helpful

There is 100% placement and we have an internship fair that allows students to interact with internship recruiters. This happens once a year and is quite often helpful. Most companies that come for the internship fair are small companies so you get more exposure

We have a tecno- management fest in the odd semester called aarush. It lasts for 5 days and is one of the biggest in the country and gets many famous people. We also have a cultural fest in the even semesters called Milan and it is a very big event

The fees structure is probably more on the expensive side but it is the same as all the other private universities, it is around 3 lakhs per year but you are eligible for various aids if you cannot pay this amount

I received a scholarship in my first year for getting above 90% in 12th standard. I also received a discount for doing well in the entrance exam. I also received a scholarship for coming second in the first year

In the mechanical stream most of the students are boys, maybe around 95%. Parties are frowned upon. Extracurricular activities are possible because of the wide facilities but for university teams no try outs are taken

The hostels are very very expensive and infrastructure is poor. Food is quite bad and rooms always have seepage from the upper floor. The bathrooms however are quite good. Most people stay outside after the first year because of this

The alumni organisation is very helpful and organises many useful events both on and off campus. The internship fair is organised by them so is the Hackathon and several other events. They have also set up a state of the art fabrication lab

First you have to register for the entrance exam, after writing the exam, depending on your rank you get called for counseling on a particular date, you can choose your preferred course and pay a deposit

Every department has good professors but it varies greatly, a lot of professors are here mainly to do research so they couldn't be less brothered how the class does,but some of them are very helpful and good at teaching
