Remarks
College is very compatible and affordable. i must suggest that our college not an iit but it is neverthless than iits. You get a complete academic and indusrial practce with the help of which you can find yourselves comfortable in any sort of job. Being government funded politics is an issue in the college otherwise everything is remarkable.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite well organised teachers are very punctual and you get an healthy and competitive atmosphere here. You need to appear in 8 semester exams most likely in the month of january and may. On an scale of 10 you will be judged in the exam.
Placement Experience
Our college in terms of placement gives neck to neck competion to most of the iit. Avg placement in cs branch is 19 to 20 lpa and most of the branches habe avg package 7 to 8 lakhs. In your academic session you get exposure to internships as well. And there are so many job opportunities available not possible to describe right now.
College Events
One of the greatest annual event of our college is sanskrity celebrated every year in the month of march. Students get the liberty to perform dance. Singing.,rockband etc. Besides this our college organise annual sports championship as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very much affordable as it is a government funded universitg. You just need to pay only 5000 at the start of your semesters and thats it,no extra fee is charged by the authorities. You can complete your entire btech course at very low cost at high perks
Fees and Financial Aid
As the fee is negligible with respect to other universities in India so i don't think one need to take loan to study. About scholships there are so many schemes available securing rank within 50 in wbjee makes you eligible for stipend of 1300 per month. For poor students college provide free books and fee waiver scheme as well.
Campus Life
Our labs are quite mordernised. There is more than enough quantity of lab apparatus availabe. We have two campuses and both are equipped with high qality sports kit and play grounds, tennish court, badminton court, table tennis. Our college organises a inter college cricket championship in which other colleges of state participate.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an alumni association in our college which helps us to empower more. It used to organise many events for freshers interactive sessions are held where alumni of our college deliver enthusiastic speech and share there hardwork stories for their success there is a freindly atmosphere between seniors and juniors. Seniors help juniors alot in there academics and resolve more less every issue.
Admission
To get into this college one need to appear in WBJEE exams and must secure a good rank approx <100 to get branches like cse and it and i was one of those. The reason behind opting jadavpur university is quite simple because its placement are beyond good and satisfying it gives full return to your hardwork.
Faculty
The faculty of our college are highly educated most of them have completed there doctorate in their own subjects. Faculty are very helpful and eager to clear all the doubts of students. The faculties are dedicated towards there work.
