Remarks

I really loved the college but the assignments part is so hectic. The college has good faculty which helps us almost 24/7 and makes us comfortable to ask any questions. They always guides us to learn more and become a better person with knowledge and values

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course and the faculty helps us to focus more on the research methodology and we have special classes to understand more about research methodology. The assignments and the schedule is so hectic and we have to do Certification Courses after the college

Placement Experience

4

We have job placements from different companies like Infosys, Accenture etc. We have internship opportunities in Delhi and Bangalore in companies like USI, CAPS, for USI we have to pay around 8, 000 and in CAPS they pay us 7, 500.

College Events

4

We have Ethnic day celebrations every year to show togetherness of our college, different national level events happens every month of the year for literature, economics, sociology, languages etc. We get participants from all over India.

Fee Structure And Facilities

30, 000 for my course in first year. 28, 500 in 2nd year 27, 000 in 3rd year My course has a different fee structure and it very low as compared to other courses because our course is one of the first established courses in our college

Fees and Financial Aid

There are different kinds of scholarships available based on low income, merit etc. In the case of low income category you don't need to pay your fee if you have met the required criteria and merit scholarships only decreases very few amount on your fees

Campus Life

4.5

Sports like volleyball, football, badminton, hockey handball, throwballl and basket ball competitions arebconducted and supported by college. There is ayudh club which is put up for social works etc. They conduct camps for students.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel is not so great but its adjustable it comes with a common bathroom. It comes with 6 sharing and 4 sharing option. The amount we pay per year is 48000. But hostel isnt that great compared to other colleges what they provide.

Alumni/Alumna

My college seniors are very helpful and we have alumni meetings happening during the time of January every year and my seniors help us if we have any problem in the course and helps us to choose for our postgraduation studies.

Admission

Best for the Undergraduate studies in South India with good faculty and great facilities. The courses they offer are much with different combinations and it has one of the best libraries in South India

Faculty

4

I really felt that the faculty here are so much experienced and the way they teach is good. Yeah there are one/two profeesors who are not so good at teaching and if we take this to the department they will change the faculty my next semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Reviewed on Aug 7, 2023(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected BA(English) course. Because I was quite good at English that's why I chose it. And I still Didn't go to college. Because our class starting date didn't announce by the college (Kittel arts college, Dharwad). That's why I have no idea about teaching staff and facilities. Of course, I hope it will be the best that I heard about this (kittel arts college, Dharwad) college. I heard only positive comments about this college.

Placement Experience:

In the final year students become eligible for placements and we have placement cell also. In 2nd year only we have attended 2-4 news channels interview and training. But due to pandemic, we didn't attend placements and all. And our seniors to didn't attend for placements because they are interested in higher education. So the percentage of placements is not clear, but for us, they prepared fully to attend any type of job interviews and also to handle all juniur of news channel and newspaper.
