Remarks
There are many positive things about my college which includes good infrastructure, good faculties, facilities which includes canteen, prayer hall for both men and women, toilet, washroom, water cooler. The only negative remark is our seniors. Which gives us bad experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very good course but hard to study. Faculties were very good with good qualification and good teaching experience. The placement oppurtunity for this course was very high. Many core companies came for the placement
Placement Experience
Amrita provides 100 percent placement oppurtunities for the students. Placements start from the begining of the 7th semester. Many IT companies and core companies visit the university. Mostly the placements are conducted in the main campus at coimbatore
College Events
Many cultural and educational events are conducted at the university. One of them is the birthday of mata amritandhamayi. The chancellor of amrita university. It is celebrated similar to that of a big festival. The birthday is held on the month of september
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are very expensive. Students from average famil finds it hard to afford. The fees for engineering is almost around 210000 per year including mess fees. Even though the food provided by them is worst. They charge expensive mess fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Amrita offers scholarship facilities for students to study abroad. They also have tie ups with american universities such as university of new mexico, which provide good scholarships. They also provide student exchange programs, for students to complete their coarse abroad
Campus Life
Extracaricular activities are not the best but good. Labs are taught by good profeesors. Who are always keen on teaching more to students. College also provides scholarship and extra grades for students active in aports
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is good but not the best. They provide small rooms with 4 bed. The bathrooms are hygienic but the water used for toilet purposes are not good. The indrastructure is new but resembles as that of an old building
Alumni/Alumna
Many people were passed out with good grades at amrita university. But some only recieved the alumini. They vusited the campus for recieving the award. The say that it was their wonderfull experience
Admission
I wrote amrita entrance exam and got into their rank list and there was an interview in which I was finally alloted there as a student. later I had to pay a caution deposit of 50, 000 and a detailed description of my course was given
