Course Curriculum Overview
Yes the course curriculum of the university is far far better than most of the other colleges in India.Though it lacks in infrastructure a bit but still its capable enough to be groomed to provide industry specific knowledge to the students and industry visits are also oraganized every year.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario of our college is well knowned by most of the students, its much much better than most of the iits and nits across India.Though students rarely gets vast packages like 1 cr or 2 crore lpa. But the average placement is the matter of concern and in our college its way too good.
College Events
Techfest Srijan. Its one of our most important tech fest with lots of opportunities and lots of things to know and learn Cultural fest Sanskriti. Sanskriti is the longest cultural fest in the whole South Asia with renowned artists and bands to perform and lots lots of thing to explore.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of Jadavpur University is the most interesting part. In my knowledge I never heard of any university that runs with so low fees. The fees here is as low that even a daily wage workers child can carry out his education too. In my time the academic fees was only 5710 for two years.
Fees and Financial Aid
No i never opted for any scbolarships because my family is economically stable enough. But there are a lot of scholarships for really needy peoples here.
Campus Life
The campus life of Jadavpur University is way yoo different from other institutions. The freedom of roaming around in Greenzone, worldview or anywhwre in the campus gives a lot of pleasure. Gender ratio is also quire good. And drama, debate, seminars, workshops etc etc everyrhing took place vuvidly.So there is no lack of options.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are like your parents here, though mentalities might vary but they are generous, friendly and helpful always. Alumni contacts are one of the key thing to notice in our university because they help and contribute in many events of the university.We all have some great bondings.
Admission
Jadavpur University is one of the leading technical university not only in West Bengal but also in India. It ranks among the top 3 universities in India and among the top 15 technical institution in India according to NIRF. The flexible and free to learn environment of the university is the reason behind its outstanding performance across India and also all over the world.
Faculty
No of lecturers varies from department to department but the number is enough for the students. Moreover most of the teachers are highly qualified research personnels in various fields with enormous knowledge and vast experience as a gift to the students under their sheds.
