it's quite updated and according to the new curriculum of UGC. Faculty members are quite helpful and friendly. They provide with best ideas and opportunities. Rimi Bhattacharya our English profesor is one of the best person I've ever interacted with.

Different companies visit our university every year and almost all the good students get placed in big company. The best students are offered with good salary packages every year. The placement record of our university is quite good as compared to other universities and every year different MNCs also provide students with an attractive internship program.
College Events
It is quite good. Management is quite enthusiastic as it includes students from all departments. Dedicated students forms the organising committee which helps in successfully organising the event. The Cultural event attracts lot of students from different universities. Sanskriti our own University festival which attract students from different colleges and schools and get an opportunity to participate in different kind of events. It is considered one of the most famous cultural events held in Kolkata.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many kind of scholarship available in our university. Scholarships are provided on the basis of the merit of a student. One needs to appear for an interview in order to get scholarship. scholarship is also provided to students belonging to different reservation group as well as students with annual income below 1 lakh. One needs to have good academic record in order to get a scholarship
Campus Life
It has its own Wifi. JU has one of the biggest library of kolkata equipped with all kinds of books and accessible computers. It has also disability centers for students with disabilities. JU has its own gym. Students also get ample of opportunities to represent University at Inter University sports competitions.
Hostel Facilities
Yes the hostel is room well equipped with furnitures table light and fans the room is quite spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities required by the students it is also well maintained. Fees of hostel is 3000 per month which includes two times food. And to get a seat for hostel one needs to appear for an interview and on the basis of the annual income of it's family and distance the person will be provided hostel room.
