College doesn't have any bad name or remarks. It only depends on student behavior. College can be rated as good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams is according to the VTU time table.we get 2 weeks of study holidays to get prepared for exam. Strictly the internal marks scoring is not at all easy here. We get scoring in externals but internals a very strict correction.It helped us to get prepared for externals still more serious.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

No interships. Students can perform on their own. The project at final year has to build in lab with out consultancy. Campus is good in the college. Nearly 100 members get placee in many of IT companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

60000rs is college fees that includes building fee as well. It's aided college that has government as well as management seat also. Transparency is clear in the recipt given to a student. Apart from college fees additional exam fees has to be paid for demister wise exams. There was additional courses as soft skills and needs to be paid .

Fees and Financial Aid

I had to apply for a Bank loan, canara bank - need to apply via application and verified by bank manager visiting house. Later we get to know the status of our bank loan approval from the bank manager.

Campus Life

Good environment , a very big college campus with individual department building. 50:50 equal ratio in electronics department, mechanical has male Dominic branch. students are covered from all over India. Electronics and computer science branch and sub branch has a minimum of 60 members and has sub branch as well with divided sections. Northies from other part of India has to be paid more 3x for branch selection based on management seat.

Admission

I had got admissions based on cet ranking results. Based on ranking they divide students with sub branch department. Strength is not more than 60 in a class. They also provide the management seat for the students but cet results are mandatory. If more than 60 students divided into two sections.

Faculty

We had 6-7 faculty. 3-4 senior faculty were PhD(45), rest average age of faculty are mid between 30-35. Mid age faculty are some times fresher's with 2 years experience in teaching, but still they were trying to give 100percent in providing the notes to get prepared for exam.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

The main reason behind I opted this college is that I am a native of Davangere and also this college gives the numerous placements as I received from the seniors. I also apllied for BVB college, but my first preference is BIET. Compared to BVB, Biet provides huge placements than BIET. But due to my family concern I opted this college. I have no rejection from any of the colleges as my rand is low(9590) which I have got many top colleges. But due to some reasons I sticked to BIET.
