Gender ration is about 1:10 . All students are very friendly. The University has three Students Unions for the three Faculties. The Students Unions have been established to promote corporate life. It is a big university and coming to power in the its student unions is therefore seen as big. So political parties do have their student wings competing for these union.

I am still stay in hostel. In main campus mostly rooms are sharing. But in the second campus all students get single room with all facility. U can't believe that the Average fees for hostel is 25 rs per month.

Alumni network of our jadavpur university is very strong. They came all year in farewell. Seniors are also helping nature.

When I was in 10th . I decided to do engineering because it's my dream. Then I appeared for west bangal joint entrance exam and I got good rank and I selected for jadavpur university which is top college of india(NIRF: 16th rank). So You have to give wb jee entrance examination to take admission in this college.

As I told here attendance is mandatory. So avg. 6 hrs classes are held here. Many teachers age is about 45-60 yr. And all are PhD holder. The teachers were very cooperative and well experienced. Overall all the teaching and non-teaching staff was very cooperative.they clear all the doubts of students. Many teacher have their own construction company. I am from civil engineering so I know only about relevant teachers. They had also taken interview of ESE in past year.
