Remarks

They are good in administration but they can still improve.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Maintaining a positive relationship among students, teachers and the administrators creates a harmonious learning environment. When students are nurtured in such surroundings, they are likely to increase their intellectual accomplishments and learn more effectively. Cooperative engagement: Encourage cooperation and mutual support by getting learners to study collaboratively. When learners study in a group, they share their ideas and knowledge to complete an assignment. Support from the peer group also helps to boost learners’ confidence. Unlike learning in isolation where discouragement or a sense of hopelessness may set in, learning becomes more enjoyable when friends are able to help or motivate one another.

Placement Experience

5

The Placement Cell of Vellore Institute Of Technology creates a platform where students can showcase their talents which different companies seek to explore and utilize. They have successfully placed a large section of graduates who have appeared for placements. This year especially, the performance has been overwhelming.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Now if you are coming on merit the fees are pretty normal like around 1. 5-2 lakhs but if you are coming for Category 2/3 then the fees might range from 2. 5–3. 5 lakhs and for Category 4/5 the fees are approximately 4–5 LPA. Now it also depends on which branch you choose as sometimes you might get some branch at a cheaper cost in some category than the other and this is kinda dependent on your rank but for CSE you mostly have to pay 4–5 LPA for any rank that does not fall in the cut-off.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, they provided scholarships for the 1st 1000 students in their entrance exam. The average sum of scholarship per student was roughly 30, 000 INR.

Campus Life

5

One of the advantages of having such a vast and diverse student body is the opportunity to join one of the many student groups(or chapters as we call them) of your interest. There are over 160 active chapters ranging from creative arts, public speaking, dramatic arts, robotics clubs, debate society, quiz club, trekking club, film society, music club, dance club to technical chapters such as the automation/ mechanical/ civil/ electrical societies. Some of the skill-sets you learn here undoubtedly boost your profile and career.

Hostel Facilities

5

Yes. I have opted for 2-bed room AC for my first year at college Facilities include 24/7 electricity, water, and other essential amenities which include night canteen, etc. Talking about the rent of the hostel it is roughly based upon the AC/Non AC factor, AC rooms charge more than non-AC ones.

Alumni/Alumna

A lot of alumni networks are almost as old as their alma maters. At the start, most of these associations were entirely voluntary, supported solely by individual alumni. Volunteers maintained mailing lists, collected dues to support activities, produced publications, organized events, and annual meetings. The world of Alumni Relations has come a long way since its inception in the early eighteenth-century. They became a vital part of most of the educational institutions now thanks to the efforts of many outstanding professionals in Alumni Relations. A good alumni network benefits the institution, current students, and as well as its Alumni. It is a win-win situation for everyone. I would like to conclude by saying that they are genuinely very helpful.

Admission

I got admission through a college entrance exam, choose computer science engineering as it was my dream to work as a software engineer in big tech companies, factors that lead me to choose this college:1. NIRF ranking is good enough for placement companies, 2. The ideal environment for students to pursue their career path, 3. digitally enhanced. Steps followed for admission procedure:1. Doing well in plus 2 levels (12th. Standard), 2. Acing the College entrance exam.

Faculty

5

Teacher quality includes the ability to deliver sound content with the ease of understanding by students. In addition to using students to measure teacher performance, a senior and experienced person in the area being evaluated can be used, and usually, an external evaluator or blind evaluation is best. Using peers who are in the same college or faculty could be sentimental.

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.
