Entrance Preview
I had appeared for many entrance examinations For IIT, AIEEE, VITEEE, SRM, Manipal. Among these engineering entrance examination, I cleared almost all except IIT JEE. Among the rest of the colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was a little hectic because every one and a half months they used to conduct exams. But it was a little fun and a student would be having the freedom to chose their subjects. They used to have many practical subjects that was been very helpful to me for my career enhancement.
Internships Opportunities
We had an house internship facility and I opted for that. Generally, the program manager's used to holding those activities in summer. They will give hostel and food facilities over there.
Placement Experience
This part was the best phase of my 4 years at VIT. The college is an acme position in terms of placement in a single university more than 250 companies used to visit for campus and among that most of them were MNC's.
College Events
VIT used to have 2 events in a year. We call it GRAVITAS and RIVIERARIVIERA is a bit technical fest and students used to do showcasing of their technical knowledge.
Fees and Financial Aid
More than 10 banks would be available for the loan and all at the time of counseling only. It depends on the student which bank he wants to opt for. Bank has great faith over VITians.
Campus Life
We had more than 20 computer labs and each lab would have more than 200 systems with high configurations. We really enjoyed running programs in labs and being an IT engineer we played so many robots on our campus.
Exam Structure
We had to appear for one final exam in a sem but before that, we had 3 test exams that we called CAT and we had to clear all 3 CAT exams just to appear for the final sem exam.
Faculty
Faculty were awesome and programming languages faculty were very good in terms of subject language and they had better knowledge of their courses and had good communication skills. Most of the faculty had M.Tech degree.
